About: Hi there! We are a loving, active family excited to welcome your pup into our home. Your dog will be treated like part of the family—with lots of attention, affection, and snuggles! We have a safe, fenced backyard perfect for playtime and we love taking neighborhood walks to keep pups happy and exercised. Our home is full of love and two little ones , so we ask that your dog is comfortable around children. Our kids are gentle, playful, and love animals, and we always supervise interactions to make sure everyone is safe and happy. We can’t wait to meet your furry family member and give them all the love, care, and playtime they deserve while you’re Away! Pets are truly a part of my everyday life and schedule! I work as a hairstylist only two days a week, and even then, my shifts are very short—I’m typically only out of the house for about 3 hours at a time. This gives me plenty of flexibility and availability to provide attentive, consistent care for pets throughout the day. I make sure their routines—whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just company—are a priority. I genuinely love having animals around and enjoy integrating their needs into my daily rhythm, so they’ll always have someone nearby who is engaged and caring Our smaller home but BIG YARD is a perfect combination for your little boy or girl . We have a secure yard but would never leave our friends in it by themselves . Your pup will be one with our family with a nightly walk and allowed to cozy up on the sofa if parents permit . Your pup would never be left alone for more than 2 hours at a time , and if we are out we leave the AC and tv on to keep them happy and comfortable.

“Derek is a great caregiver. We had him watch our 5 month old Maltipoo for a day while the family spent the day at Disneyland. He sent us videos and pictures throughout the day of the walks and playful moments. You can tell that Derek really loves dogs and treats them as if it were his own. One of the things I really liked about Derek prior to meeting him was that he was the only one that proactively suggested having a meet and greet to make sure it was a good fit for both parties. About: I’ve had a dog before and I started loving all kinds of animals since I was little. I also have some fish (most were goldfish, and right now I have a Betta fish), a rabbit, etc. I am pretty much free except for when there is a home nhl (hockey) game I love them so much that I’m currently in school to become a veterinarian. Your pet or loved one will be in safe hands with me. I will also do my best in making your love one feel comfortable and loved when your at work or on vacation and can not bring them with you. If you have a very active pet it is fine with me and if you do not that’s fine with me too. I currently work part time and during my down time I would love to broaden my career with my veterinarian degree and passion for them. I will always make sure they are secure and safe before any walks. If I see any other fur buddies coming our way during our adventurous walks I will cross the street (when safe) to make sure everyone is comfortable. Your fur buddy will have tons of belly rubs, lots of play times multiple walks and potty breaks throughout the day. Also if okay they will also get positive reinforcement with treats.

I also don't want to stress out my pets, so I would like to welcome similar demeanor pets to ensure everyone has a good time. There is a dog park nearby and I love taking the dogs to the dog park and let them run free and have fun.

I am also very close to being a certified dog trainer so I have lots of experience and formal education on dog behavior and will be able to enforce any training you may want to keep consistent even while you’re away! I have 2 dogs of my own that I treat essentially like my children so I understand how important it is to find loving and comprehensive care for your pup. In my own home I have beds and fresh water available at all times as well as toys and baby gates placed throughout for proper management and safety.
