The photos we received they were always looking happy. We were gone for 10 days and when we came back it was like we had just left with the house being clean. Khalil stayed in our guest room. We didn't ask him to but he took the sheets off of the bed and put them in the laundry room. The dishes he had used were put in the dishwasher. Main thing was to take care of our dogs and he went above and beyond on that! We will absolutely recommend Khalil to anyone and everyone looking for short and long term stays. About: I’ve cared for cats and dogs from a very young age and have developed a strong understanding of their individual needs and personalities. During college, I spent summers working nights at an emergency veterinary clinic, where I gained valuable experience recognizing signs of illness, injury, and other concerns in both cats and dogs. As the proud owner of three cats, I treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. I also have experience fostering animals with a wide range of needs, from tiny kittens requiring extra care to dogs with behavioral and temperament challenges. I currently work full-time from 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday. In my free time, I enjoy walking and spending times with my pets. I got tons of updates which made me feel very assured my fur babies were in excellent care while I was at the hospital with my baby. It was also a holiday and she was available. About: I’ve been around big dogs my whole life and I’ve never been scared of them, all I ask is that your pet is trained (but if worse comes to worse I can keep a treat nearby to deescalate the scene). I currently help care for my dog Tiger when I’m at my dad’s and he’s well adapt in the world of tricks (one of his favorites being roll over) ! I work part-time right now so I have plenty of time to make sure your baby has a wonderful day! All I ask is that you give me some notice to ensure that I’m off for the day you’re requesting. 🙂 I do not pet sit in my own home, my dog does fine with the smell of others but I’m not sure of how he’d react to just meeting another dog at random. However, within the location you choose I’ll follow all of your guidelines and if you let me I’ll use positive reinforcement with treats to make sure they don’t go past whatever your personal border is for them. I feed my pets 2-3 times a day, with the time in the middle being more of a snack, less hefty than the other two for moderation, to avoid an unhealthy weight. Tiger gets let out to potty whenever he wants, there isn’t really a set time but he definitely gets let out before bed for at least 30mins to make sure he can go to sleep without feeling the need to potty throughout the night. This is just my personal care and I’m more than welcome to changing this routine for your pet, I’m offering a service and I’d like to make sure your’s and your pets’ needs are fulfilled.

Hero dog sitter! Brittany literally came to the rescue for our pups and is kind, sweet, and really cares. Long story ahead, but important. We initially hired a different sitter to housesit our pups Monday-Friday. We left our house very early Monday to travel to Puerto Rico and expected the sitter to arrive mid to late morning. While traveling, the other sitter I initially hired told me she was in another state due to weather and was trying to get to our house as soon as possible. She said she had a family member that routinely helps her and was headed to our house immediately to take care of our pups until she could get there. I felt I needed to accept this plan since I was already very far away and did not have notice or time to change anything. I got a few updates the rest of Monday that the pups were being taken care of, and that everything was fine. I woke up Tuesday morning in PR and felt something was just “off”, so I checked my security cameras and no one had ever come to my house. No one arrived to housesit or take care of my dogs, ages 18, 15, and 2. I began panicking as I realized they had been alone for over 24 hours while I thought the other sitter’s family was with them. I logged on to Rover and sent out basically an emergency message to anyone it would allow me to message that was available the same day. Within a few minutes Brittany responded that she could help. This is such a busy time of year with the holidays and travel and she stopped everything to take over house sitting for the rest of the week. When she got to my house, thank GOD, my dogs were okay. They were hungry and thirsty and Brittany had a mess from them being alone for almost 30 hours at this point. She fed them and cleaned up and immediately sent me pictures and videos to show me they were okay. I had already checked to see how fast I could return to NC myself but it would have taken over 24 hours. For the rest of our trip Brittany took excellent care of my dogs and reassured me they were okay. I am handling the situation with the other sitter and I have no idea when she made it back to NC but she, nor her helper ever arrived to my house or checked with me since to see if my dogs were okay. I want to let everyone know that Brittany is amazing and will take care of your pets like her own!!
