“Cheyenne is our go to sitter for our cat Emmie. We have used her a few times now and are so pleased! She is professional, punctual and has great communication. She is wonderful with Emmie and Emmie adores her. If your looking for a sitter and have peace of mind while your away Cheyenne is definitely the sitter you need. We will hire her again and again.”

“Turin did an amazing job with our cat Noah! For the first time we left him for 10 days and felt a bit uneasy about it, but Turin took great care of him. She sent pictures daily so we always felt comfortable and Noah seems to have taken a quick liking as he was even photographed on her lap! Thanks so much Turin! Highly recommended and whenever we go away again I will be sure to call you.”

“This is my second time having Alissa take care of my dogs and she was consistent in feeding them and letting them out. She left very detailed reports while taking care of them. 100% would recommend booking!”

“In a single phrase, Cheyenne was "PERFECTLY AWESOME"!!! She was not only prompt, but also caring and attentive to my dog's needs. And, Cheyenne was especially affectionate toward Lilly, which Lilly certainly enjoyed. Too bad there was only five stars to be given! I will DEFINITELY want to book Cheyenne in the future!”

About: I am a lifelong pet owner, having been raised surrounded by animals. That being said, I always helped to take care of our pets since I was a young kid. Dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, snails, crabs; you name it, I've raised it. I love animals and love to care for them. I am athletic so I am great at keeping up with even the most energetic pets! I would love to be of service to anyone who may need me. I have also petsit and dogwalked for others privately for pay before this, so I have proper experience as well beyond my personal life. I work from home and varying hours between 3-8 pm on Mon-Fri (Usually only 2-4 hours in the studio at a time), so I have plenty of free time for care! I have experience with free-roaming pets of all kinds, as well as cage-training and homes with limited areas the animal is meant to stay in, so I have no trouble remembering these things. I can send regular updates if requested, including photos!
About: I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I’ve had dogs, cats, and other pets my entire life. I’ve been pet sitting and dog walking for over 15 years. I am comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, and of course cuddling your fur members of the family. If there are other tasks you need done around the house when I’m pet sitting, don’t hesitate to ask, chances are I am more then happy to do it. I am off Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On Fridays I am off at 2:30 and can accept clients after 3:00. I am available for last minute visits. My husband and I work opposite schedules so someone is always around. PLEASE READ! For boarding at my house I typically like to meet the dogs prior to accepting booking. I have two dogs of my own, a large mix breed ( male) and a medium mix breed ( girl). My dogs have always been around other dogs. During your pets stay at my house they will have access to a fully fenced in yard, free range of house and endless love ! I do request your pets to have flea and tick prevention and be up to date with vaccines. My propety is surrounded by woods and wildlife so I like to be cautious. I feed the dogs I’m boarding in a separate room, and have ample toys for different stimulation. I can send daily updates and pictures. My house also has cameras inside and out to watch when I step out.
“I recently had Jill watch my puppy, Fritz, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided. Jill ensured Fritz always had food and let him out for bathroom breaks. She was very accommodating to our needs and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout. I highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!”

About: Hello animal lovers! My name is Jonathan and I'm 33 years old. Being in the army for 13 years has given me attention to detail and discipline. I absolutely love being around dogs and seeing them roam around, play and be happy. I take great pleasure in caring for them. On our walks we go around the neighborhood, play in the back yard and give them plenty of scratchies. My dog is family and so as yours. Any dog that steps paw into my home is family as well. So, feel at ease and know that your best bud is being cared for with love! I have a natural love for all animals and creating that special bond with them. I have about 17 years of caring experience with mostly dogs and 1.5 yrs with cats. All different breeds in order from Dalmatian, rescue dogs, Miniature Schnauzer and now currently my English Bull Terrier. I reassure you that your family member will be treated like a baby with love, care and safety. While your dog is with me I will attempt to teach your dog tricks; sit, stay, shake paw and stay(hold) till food is given upon your request (Treats must be provided). My stay home wife and I rotate between our schedules to give the best care possible for all the furr babies that step into our home. I have a fenced yard with one friendly dog. I have plenty of space if you prefer to bring a crate. If you have any concern from your dog being an escape artist. I have a LED light color that glows to see the dog easier. As well a GPS collar for any extra measurements that would have to be taken.
About: Hello, I’m Kathryn, but feel free to call me Katie. Having worked at the ASPCA for almost seven years, animal welfare is truly at the core of everything I do. My priority is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to keeping your dog healthy and happy with meaningful exercise. I provide longer, quality walks, structured play sessions tailored to your dog’s energy level, and one-on-one companionship so your pet feels cared for throughout the day. What I offer • Consistent, clear communication • Detailed updates with photos • Longer walks • Safe handling, comfort, and routine care • A calm and patient approach Availability • Weekdays: early mornings, mid-day, after work, and late evenings • Weekends: flexible with advance notice I know my rates look a little higher, but that reflects my experience, professionalism, and the level of attention your pet will receive. I am more than happy to hop on a quick call to answer any questions before booking. I can also provide personal referrals if needed. A little about me: I have two cats, Linus and Liam, who are my whole world. I also adore dogs and grew up with several breeds including a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, Mini Schnauzer, and a Bernese Mountain Dog. I hope to rescue a Great Dane someday, but until then I pour all my dog-love into the pups I care for. Skills • Leash training • Basic obedience and tricks • Brushing, baths, simple grooming • Agility exposure (from working with a Bernese) I would love the chance to care for your best friend and make sure they feel happy and comfortable until you return. I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my routine, and my schedule is very flexible. On weekdays, I’m available in the early mornings, mid-day, after work, and into the evening. I’m also able to help on weekends with a little advance notice. I have two cats at home, so I prefer to care for dogs in their owner's home. This has always worked well when I watch my friends’ dogs, as I typically stay at their house or apartment for extended periods while they’re away. It allows their pup to stay in a familiar, comfortable environment with their usual routines, rather than introducing new animals or unnecessary stress. My focus is always on making sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and at home.
“Ysela took excellent care of our cat while we were away. She was available for a last min weekend trip. She was incredibly responsive and took notes on how to care for our cat. We were updated on each visit with photos and feedback on our pet’s behavior and demeanor. We will absolutely have her take care of our cat again.”

“I cannot say enough about Tanuj. He was simply fantastic. So genuinely caring. Tanuj truly went above and beyond with our dog and cat. He played with them and reported back with so much detail and so many pictures. I was very nervous leaving them and after the first visit I felt at ease. When we returned home all was well and our pets were happy! Tanuj will always be our pet sitter. I 100% recommend him! He is kind and caring and very you though.”

About: Your dog deserves more than just a hard kennel where countless others have stressed and panted awaiting someone to unlock the cage and let them out for a potty break - they deserve someone who genuinely cares for them and their comfort. Whether you need a midday walk, a quick check-in, or a cozy overnight stay while you're away, your pup will be in caring, attentive hands every step of the way. I am an experienced foster for ACDRA (Australian Cattle Dog Rescue), I have had the joy of loving dogs my entire life, and raised 8 of my own in adulthood. I will treat your dog like my own and do my best to keep them comfortable and stress levels down while you are away. Expect plenty of cuddles, outdoor adventures, and real-time updates so you never have to worry about how they're doing. I'm available 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays, for drop-ins, dog walks, boarding in my home or overnight stays in your home. I have a one acre yard that is not fenced. I walk dogs on a leash or put them out for quick potty breaks on a run out my back door. I have a gated deck for sun bathing, pool time and fresh air. Inside, I believe in slow introductions with resident pets. I have a gated living room where your pet will stay while my two dog-friendly dogs get to know them. If all introductions go smoothly, they may eventually get some dog play time, but I do know how to read dog body language and will not move forward if anyone seems uncomfortable. As a dog foster, I have introduced many dogs into my home successfully!
“Mirielle showed up on time and took good care of Bootsy. She's pleasant to both dogs and their associated humans. It made a long night out more fun because we didn't have to worry about Bootsy.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,352 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Andover. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Andover. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
