She lets him out as many times as he asks. She makes sure that he is OK outside. She never lets him be alone. Uh, she's always checking his food and. Is water. She's also always checking the food in the water for my cat that hides all the time. She is a wonderful caregiver. Compassionate. Absolutely thorough. Wonderful. With my dog. We take only 3 dogs at a time, so your beloved gets lots of attention in a calm and peaceful home. We accommodate all of your dogs needs as dictated by you...if your pup is accustomed to sleeping in bed with you, we will accommodate this. Our priority is giving your dog a peaceful, safe, familial and comfortable stay. We can provide pick up and drop off service if needed. Swimming "lessons" at no extra charge. Although cold water is not my favorite, my wet suit and I will acclimate your dog to lake swimming if you desire. My experience with rescue dogs, cats and horses is extensive. Treatment and care for diabetic and other special needs pets and humans is vast. As a 30 year professional psychology and special education teacher, in addition to all of my experience with animals, you will feel secure leaving your best friend with us!! I am home full time. Your dog will be a part of the family. Dinner with the family, walks, car rides, visits to the lake beach, watching kids softball games.... Your dog is top priority while with us. If you normally crate, we will accommodate this. I am home full time and have plenty of time for exercise and lovins! I love to be outdoors and enjoy interacting with dogs and teaching them new things. We live at the end of a lane on a private peninsula on a lake. We are not close to any roads. Dogs will be leashed when outside.

About: Like most I have had dogs my entire life but my last soul mate of 16 years died a year ago and I cannot bring myself to get another dog. That being said, we love animals in this household and want them around all the time...I think you get it. My other job is a professional nature photographer so not only will you get amazing photos of your dog, I can bring them with me on my assignments if you like. Like I said in my experience, my other job is a professional photographer giving me hours and hours at my house editing my work. Also, my partner Julie is a yoga teacher who works for herself so there is always someone home. The most important thing is that it is your dog, your rules. We have the most inviting back yard but it is not fenced, however, our house is in a rural community with great neighbors. Your dog will never be off a leash if that is your wish.

About: I rescued my black lab 10 years ago on my own, and have groomed in and assisted in veterinary hospitals in the past. I grew up with a dog and cats and love most all animals. I used to be a veterinary assistant for a few years before covid, and I have good friends who work in veterinary medicine as doctors! I love to learn as much as I can in that field as well. I am fully available to care and love your animals- The sooner you book me for house sittings- all the better!! I will regularly take the animals outside, give them treats, cuddle on the couch together (if they’re allowed on furniture) and feed them as needed I am happy to provide as much care and service to you and your pets as often as you need it, and whenever I am physically able to be there to care for them for you! For house sittings, I give the the houses with fenced in backyards both your pets and myself to stay outdoors with one another for a longer period of time in a safer environment to get to know one another, especially during first time visits. I love to lounge around the house and get to know your fur babies, especially during my first few times of interacting with them, just to establish care and trust during this time.

About: Experienced pet sitter and animal lover. I've worked in animal rescue, done trap-neuter-release, cared for a colony of feral cats for a decade, and fostered more kittens and adult cats than I can count. I offer visits, walks, overnight stays, or I can live at your house while you are away. I am a nature and wildlife photographer so I have gotten to know, to one degree or the other, all of the animals around my home, which, I believe, helps to make me comfortable with all types of pets. I also offer pet portraits! I have experience with all of the usual pets, plus a few unusual ones too. I will take good care of your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, small animals and even tarantulas or insects. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and I will let you know how the visits are going. Your pets will be safe and well cared for with me. I have a regular part time job with a flexible schedule so can be available just about anytime. Let me know what you need and we can work it out. Home visits run about a 1/2 an hour and include, depending upon your pet, a walk, poop scoop, litter box cleaning, feeding, watering and treat dispensing, and pats and cuddles.
