“Tanuj did a wonderful job taking care of our elderly kitty Bubba. She took a visit to warm up to him, but once she realized that he was there to give her fishies, she was ALL about it. We got pictures and updates showing how she was doing which definitely made our time away from her loads easier. Thanks heaps Tanuj! 🐾”
“Tamara was amazing! Highly recommend. She watched my 2 kittens for a few days. She fed them, cleaned up after them, cleaned the litter and took the time to play with them. She even took out the garbage!! Very impressed and will definitely hire again.🐾”

“Turin did an amazing job with our cat Noah! For the first time we left him for 10 days and felt a bit uneasy about it, but Turin took great care of him. She sent pictures daily so we always felt comfortable and Noah seems to have taken a quick liking as he was even photographed on her lap! Thanks so much Turin! Highly recommended and whenever we go away again I will be sure to call you.”

“Alissa stopped in multiple afternoons to take care of my dog while I was at work. She is reliable, easy to communicate with, and sent great updates about her visit with pictures!”

“would like to sincerely thank Kathryn for the wonderful care she has given to Rocky Duke and for overseeing Blair. She is a genuinely caring, trustworthy, and dependable person who always goes above and beyond. Knowing they were in her care gave me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend Kathryn to anyone looking for someone compassionate, reliable, and dedicated. Thank you, Kathryn, for everything you did for my babies.”

“Tammie was an absolute lifesaver while I was on vacation! She came three times a day to care for my cat, including administering oral medication, which can be a challenge—but she handled it with total professionalism and care. She was always on time, incredibly communicative, and sent regular updates that really helped me relax while I was away. When our flight was unexpectedly delayed, she didn’t hesitate to make additional last-minute visits to make sure my cat was safe and comfortable. Her flexibility and dedication truly went above and beyond. It’s such a relief to know my pet is in such capable and compassionate hands. I will 100% be booking with Tammie again and can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Sarah took amazing care of our 3 crazy cats! It’s the first time we have returned from a trip to find calm, relaxed cats. She even gave our asthmatic kitty her inhaler daily, which is definitely tricky. Everything was perfect.”

“Scott arrived on time and my dogs were comfortable with him. He was attentive to them outside when dropping by to let them out and playing with them. Would definitely use his services again.”

About: Your dog deserves more than just a hard kennel where countless others have stressed and panted awaiting someone to unlock the cage and let them out for a potty break - they deserve someone who genuinely cares for them and their comfort. Whether you need a midday walk, a quick check-in, or a cozy overnight stay while you're away, your pup will be in caring, attentive hands every step of the way. I am an experienced foster for ACDRA (Australian Cattle Dog Rescue), I have had the joy of loving dogs my entire life, and raised 8 of my own in adulthood. I will treat your dog like my own and do my best to keep them comfortable and stress levels down while you are away. Expect plenty of cuddles, outdoor adventures, and real-time updates so you never have to worry about how they're doing. I'm available 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays, for drop-ins, dog walks, boarding in my home or overnight stays in your home. I have a one acre yard that is not fenced. I walk dogs on a leash or put them out for quick potty breaks on a run out my back door. I have a gated deck for sun bathing, pool time and fresh air. Inside, I believe in slow introductions with resident pets. I have a gated living room where your pet will stay while my two dog-friendly dogs get to know them. If all introductions go smoothly, they may eventually get some dog play time, but I do know how to read dog body language and will not move forward if anyone seems uncomfortable. As a dog foster, I have introduced many dogs into my home successfully!
“In a single phrase, Cheyenne was "PERFECTLY AWESOME"!!! She was not only prompt, but also caring and attentive to my dog's needs. And, Cheyenne was especially affectionate toward Lilly, which Lilly certainly enjoyed. Too bad there was only five stars to be given! I will DEFINITELY want to book Cheyenne in the future!”

Beyond play, I prioritize their well-being by maintaining a clean environment. This includes promptly cleaning up after bathroom breaks and tidying feeding areas. Rest assured, your dog will receive affectionate care, including plenty of cuddles and pets, making their time away from you both enjoyable and comfortable. As a part-time professional, I offer dedicated pet care during early mornings (6 AM to 8 AM) and evenings (4 PM to 10 PM) on weekdays. On weekends, my schedule is more flexible, allowing me to accommodate various pet care needs, including extended stays or multiple visits. During the summer months, I often have increased availability, depending on my work commitments, and I’m eager to discuss how I can support your pet care requirements during this time. As a dedicated pet caregiver, I prioritize providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every pet in my care. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I tailor my approach to meet each pet’s unique needs, ensuring they feel secure and well cared for. In climbers homes, I respect and maintain the pet’s regular routine to minimize stress. This includes feeding them on schedule, providing fresh water, administering any necessary medications, and ensuring they get the appropriate amount of exercise and attention. I also keep the home tidy, following any specific instructions provided by the owner to ensure a smooth experience for both the pet and their family. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering them love, patience, and attentive care to make their time away from their owner as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
About: Like most I have had dogs my entire life but my last soul mate of 16 years died a year ago and I cannot bring myself to get another dog. That being said, we love animals in this household and want them around all the time...I think you get it. My other job is a professional nature photographer so not only will you get amazing photos of your dog, I can bring them with me on my assignments if you like. Like I said in my experience, my other job is a professional photographer giving me hours and hours at my house editing my work. Also, my partner Julie is a yoga teacher who works for herself so there is always someone home. The most important thing is that it is your dog, your rules. We have the most inviting back yard but it is not fenced, however, our house is in a rural community with great neighbors. Your dog will never be off a leash if that is your wish.

About: "Club Deb" is back!! A lakeside, safe, fun and happy experience await your pup, on a private peninsula. Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Greendell. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
