About: I’m lucky enough to have an open schedule, which means your pet will get my full, undivided attention without being left alone for long stretches of time. I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. My love playing with animals, chilling with them, and just watching them do what they do. One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are on the shy or anxious side. I know how stressful it can be for them when their owners are away, so I’m incredibly patient. I know how to read their body language, give them the space they need, and just let them open up to me at their own pace until they feel completely safe. I am currently on summer break from college and take care of my own dogs at home. I make sure to give them everything they need from walks to play to just sitting around together. My main priority is keeping a constant eye on your pet and sticking as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I'm staying at your place or visiting, your pet won't be left alone for long stretches, which really helps prevent separation anxiety. While I'm in a client's home, I will treat it with total respect and keep everything secure. I will make sure that all doors and gates are locked securely every time I leave your home, and I always keep dogs on a leash during walks. About: Like most I have had dogs my entire life but my last soul mate of 16 years died a year ago and I cannot bring myself to get another dog. That being said, we love animals in this household and want them around all the time...I think you get it. My other job is a professional nature photographer so not only will you get amazing photos of your dog, I can bring them with me on my assignments if you like. Like I said in my experience, my other job is a professional photographer giving me hours and hours at my house editing my work. Also, my partner Julie is a yoga teacher who works for herself so there is always someone home. The most important thing is that it is your dog, your rules. We have the most inviting back yard but it is not fenced, however, our house is in a rural community with great neighbors. Your dog will never be off a leash if that is your wish.
