“We recently had the pleasure of having Nicolas care for our beloved dog, Mazzie, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, it was clear that our pup was in great hands. Mazzie went on long walks, had incredible play time with their dog Sinatra, and we received tons of wonderful pictures, making our time away. It was evident that they were genuinely passionate about animals, and Mazzie was instantly comfortable, which gave us such peace of mind. Overall, we couldn’t recommend this pet sitter highly enough. They treated Mazzie as if she were their own, and we will definitely be using them again in the future. If you’re looking for reliable, compassionate, and attentive care for your furry family member, look no further!”

“Kevin and his wife were great; able to take my 2 dogs at short notice . kept me advised how they were doing and flexible to work with my odd schedule. would recommend them to others.”

“Trista and Bill were excellent. My dog usually gets separation anxiety when away from me. But they managed to calm her down and settle down. This was only a short stay - 2 nights. But I expect to use their service again, for longer durations while I plan to do some traveling.”

“Chris was great with Lainey (and with us). Super communicative and easy in terms of meet up, drop off, and pick up. And did a great job with Lainey, even as she presented him with some unique challenges.”

“I had an amazing experience with Alaine as my dog sitter. She was highly responsive, providing daily photos and a detailed "report card" summarizing Brizo's activities and well-being during the four-night stay. Alaine took exceptional care of Brizo, and her own dog, Pasta, was a wonderful host too. I highly recommend Alaine for her attentiveness, communication, and genuine love for animals. Brizo can't wait to visit again soon!”

“This was my first time ever leaving my 7 month old puppy so I was a little nervous and not sure what to expect. Joanne put my mind at ease from the beginning and was WONDERFUL! Willow was happy and well taken care of while I was away. I even received daily updates with pictures which I looked forward to receiving. I highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. THANK YOU Joanne for taking such good care of my Willow!”

“Carol and her family took exceptional care of our little guy Max. They loved him as if he was part of their own family. We were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry about Max knowing he was in their loving hands. Carol will be our first call anytime we need someone to watch him!”
“Very friendly and communicative! Liyuan was very quick to get back and supportive sharing photos throughout our pup's stay. I will certainly be looking to have Luna stay with Liyuan again in the future and am sure Luna's excited for it too!”

About: I have been pet-sitting for my neighbors, boss, and co-workers since 2010. While I occasionally board pets in my home, I usually provide pet/house-sitting in the customer's home. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. If I am providing care in my home, I can offer to take dogs for a walk in a nearby state park. I try to keep the pets' feeding and walking schedules consistent with that of the owners.
“During the time my Rocky spent with Vivian, she stayed in communication with me on a regular basis, and showed Rocky the same attention and affection that he would have received at home. Vivian is trustworthy, and my Rocky had a great stay with her. I highly recommend her dog sitting service.”

“HANNILIE showed great compassion for our dog. It was comforting that she took videos of Finnegan playing in the yard with the other dog. It brought comfort and reassurance to us as this was Finnegan's first stay away from home. We would highly recommend Hannilie to anyone seeking a competent and caring boarding for their dog.”

“Stan and Barbara took such great care of our dog for the week. They shared daily updates and pictures which we really enjoyed. We will definitely contact them again when we need a dog sitter. Happy to have found them using Rover!”

“Polina was our first experience using Rover and we couldn't be happier. Our dog was safe with Polina and he was clearly treated as one of the family. We received multple pictures each day of him having a great time. She got creative when he wouldn't eat the first night. When we picked him up, her genuine affection for him was evident. We will definitely choose Polina to care for our teasured pet again.”

“Siram and Rekha are a blessings to my family. Caliber my Golden Doddle is my whole world and the minute I met Siram and Rekha we bonded and I feel comfortable I was leaving Caliber in the best care and his 2nd home. Caliber gets along well with Milo. As long as they would have Caliber when I need a second home Siram and Rekha is my only option. Thank you both.”

“Aleja T. Is a great person to watch our dog, it’s a third time we left our pug with her. She provided us with pictures and updates every day. Our dog always looked happy when in Aleja care. Any one who will pick her to taking care of his/her pet will be very satisfy. Thank you Aleja! You are the best!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Debra. Cooper stayed 4 days. He was a very happy camper, playing in the yard with other dogs, going for walks and just hanging out as if he were at home. Deb sent lots of pictures, and Cooper looked just like one of the family. I was afraid he would’t want to come back home, but he was glad to see us. I would recommend Deb to any of my friends and family who need someone who they can trust with their furry loved ones. Thanks for everything Deb!”

“Cassandra was great. She gave me a detailed message with lots of pics at each visit. She was also very prompt whenever I messaged her. I'll definitely book with Cassandra again.”

“Tammie was an absolute lifesaver while I was on vacation! She came three times a day to care for my cat, including administering oral medication, which can be a challenge—but she handled it with total professionalism and care. She was always on time, incredibly communicative, and sent regular updates that really helped me relax while I was away. When our flight was unexpectedly delayed, she didn’t hesitate to make additional last-minute visits to make sure my cat was safe and comfortable. Her flexibility and dedication truly went above and beyond. It’s such a relief to know my pet is in such capable and compassionate hands. I will 100% be booking with Tammie again and can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Turin did an amazing job with our cat Noah! For the first time we left him for 10 days and felt a bit uneasy about it, but Turin took great care of him. She sent pictures daily so we always felt comfortable and Noah seems to have taken a quick liking as he was even photographed on her lap! Thanks so much Turin! Highly recommended and whenever we go away again I will be sure to call you.”

About: I currently have two cats of my own, Linus and Liam, so I understand their routines, quirks, and the level of care they need every day. I am very comfortable with feeding schedules, litter box upkeep, brushing, enrichment activities, and reading their body language to make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I have also trained both of my cats to do simple tricks like “sit” and “paw,” so I’m always happy to add a little enrichment or playtime based on your cat’s personality. My goal is to make sure your cat feels secure and comfortable in their own space while you are away, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.

About: I am a lifelong pet owner, having been raised surrounded by animals. That being said, I always helped to take care of our pets since I was a young kid. Dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, snails, crabs; you name it, I've raised it. I love animals and love to care for them. I am empathetic, hardworking, and caring. I would love to be of service to anyone who may need me. I have also petsit for others privately for pay before this, so I have proper experience as well beyond my personal life.
“Ysela took excellent care of our cat while we were away. She was available for a last min weekend trip. She was incredibly responsive and took notes on how to care for our cat. We were updated on each visit with photos and feedback on our pet’s behavior and demeanor. We will absolutely have her take care of our cat again.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life — from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, sugar gliders, and even a pet chicken! Today, I’m the proud pet mom of two dogs (Poppy, a sweet pit-hound mix, and Banks, a goofy Great Pyrenees pup) and one curious cat named Sterling. As a fellow pet parent, I know how important it is to feel your fur baby is safe, loved, and truly cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own — with patience, affection, and lots of playtime or snuggles (depending on their vibe!). Whether your pet needs structured care, a calm companion, or just someone who gets how much they mean to you, I’m here to help.
“In a single phrase, Cheyenne was "PERFECTLY AWESOME"!!! She was not only prompt, but also caring and attentive to my dog's needs. And, Cheyenne was especially affectionate toward Lilly, which Lilly certainly enjoyed. Too bad there was only five stars to be given! I will DEFINITELY want to book Cheyenne in the future!”

About: Hello, my name is Sadie (nickname for Sarah) and I’m excited to care for your cats! I have loved and cared for cats all my life. I am patient and fun. Will provide as much or as little attention as your babies need. I personally have 3, one with anxiety, so am sensitive to that.

About: The first pet I ever asked my mom for was a kitten. I have raised more cats than I have dogs, and I've raised quite a few dogs! I've fostered and rescued many on my own as well. People like to assume that cats are aloof but they just have their own time and space. I like to give all pets their own time and space and understand their needs individually. I have cared for UTIs, administered insulin, medications, etc for all of my pets and I would treat your cats just as well as I treat my own.
“Hope is such an amazing sitter! She’s great with communication, flexible and my Butterscotch absolutely loves her! I’ve booked her multiple times and have always been happy with my choice”

“Tanuj did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats! He should be the No. 1 choice for anyone in Idaho Falls looking for cat care. He came over to meet them twice before I was out of town and made sure they were comfortable with him and that the instructions I was leaving behind were adequate. It's quite obvious that he's excellent with cats. I received updates and pictures every day that became the highlight of my days as I traveled. I highly recommend Tanuj.”

“Once again, Jill took excellent care of our sweet boy Benny. She continues to amaze us on how she can instantly bond with Benny and get him out from hiding for purrs, pets and playtime. We are so grateful that we found Jill and will continue hiring her and highly recommending her! She has such a great passion for animals and it clearly shows. Thank you Jill for taking such good care of Benny and truly allowing us to feel comfortable being away from him. You are Fantastic!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since my early 20s. I began fostering dogs in my early 30s and even had some foster failures. I have always been that friend, neighbor, stranger that will stop and help and animal in need or just stop the world to say hi to a four legged love ! I have full open availability! I am a teacher and am home during the summer so I can meet most needs. I am also willing to travel to help a pup in need. I prefer to board at home and I have two small pups at home, Eli and Gidget. Eli is a 12 year old Havanese and Gidget is a 2 year old Brug. They are sweet and get along with all animals and people.
“Aleja was absolutely wonderful with Gus! From the moment we connected, she was kind, gentle, and clearly cared about making sure he was comfortable and happy. She kept us updated throughout, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It’s not always easy leaving your dog with someone new, but Aleja made the whole experience stress-free. We came home to a very happy pup! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

She was in touch thru out the day and was understanding when I was a bit late for pick up. I would absolutely bring him back for another stay!”

About: My husband and I have lived in Lake Mohawk for 11 years. We have 4 wonderful children, all of which love animals. In addition to our children, we have a wonderfully trained male Shi-a-Poo named Toby. He is going on 13 years old. We have raised him since a puppy. Toby also loves to play with other dogs, however he's getting pretty lazy in his old doggie days. He enjoys laying and cuddling most of the day. Our children, on the other hand, love running around, playing fetch and taking Toby for walks...Toby would love to share the wealth! We live on a quiet street in a great neighborhood located in Lake Mohawk. We have a fenced in back yard where your dog can run around and play as much or as little as he/she wants! We will provide the best care for your best friend when you are not able, with lots of love and attention. Both my husband and I grew up with dogs, and when I was a teenager, I raised a dog for the Seeing Eye. I am a stay-at-home mom. There is someone home for the majority of the day so your pup will never be alone for more than a couple of hours. We would like to keep our client dogs on the smaller size and as non-shedding as possible. Our fee of $35 is for small dogs under 25lbs. We will consider watching larger dogs between 25-35lbs if they are mellow due to our small children. There is an additional fee of $10.00 per day for dogs between 25-35lb. Pick up is before noon and drop-off is after 3pm. A $5.00 an hour charge is added for pick up after 12 noon or drop off before 3pm, with at most an additional fee of $25.00 a day. If you and your pup are looking for a great family to spend some time with, we would love to meet you and your dog! About this sitter: If your dog feels most comfortable staying at his own home, we'll come visit, walk, and play with your beloved pooch while you're away!! Leave us the leash, and we'll take your dog on 20 - 30 minute walk. Our rates start at 25.00 per night with one 20-30 minute walk a day. For each additional trip to your house, we charge an additional $8.00. Each trip will include checking food & water levels, a 5 - 10 minute play session and a quick potty walk. We'll help make the most of your dog's staycay!!

If Alissa is the standard of the type of people that will care for my dog, I would use this service again, without a doubt. And, I wouldn't hesitate in booking Alissa, and recommending her to everyone.”

I am very flexible and offer same day bookings My home will not be available for pet sitting. However, I'd be happy to visit your home or preferred location to care and look after your pets.
About: Experienced pet sitter and animal lover. I've worked in animal rescue, done trap-neuter-release, cared for a colony of feral cats for a decade, and fostered more kittens and adult cats than I can count. I offer visits, walks, overnight stays, or I can live at your house while you are away. I am a nature and wildlife photographer so I have gotten to know, to one degree or the other, all of the animals around my home, which, I believe, helps to make me comfortable with all types of pets. I also offer pet portraits! I have experience with all of the usual pets, plus a few unusual ones too. I will take good care of your dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, small animals and even tarantulas or insects. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and I will let you know how the visits are going. Your pets will be safe and well cared for with me. I have a regular part time job with a flexible schedule so can be available just about anytime. Let me know what you need and we can work it out. Home visits run about a 1/2 an hour and include, depending upon your pet, a walk, poop scoop, litter box cleaning, feeding, watering and treat dispensing, and pats and cuddles.

“Alyssa is amazing with my dog. She is punctual and tells what functions my dog did, and how he behaved, accompanied with pictures of her with him. Make me feel that my pup is in great hands. I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Very friendly and communicative! Liyuan was very quick to get back and supportive sharing photos throughout our pup's stay. I will certainly be looking to have Luna stay with Liyuan again in the future and am sure Luna's excited for it too!”

About: I’ve owned my own dog for 17 years and have babysitted friends’ dogs and many other client’s dogs by word of mouth. I am experienced with senior care and comfortable with administering medication. Ever since I started working from home and my soul dog passing the rainbow bridge I found I have more love in my heart to share with any dog out there. I recently joined rover because I miss having a dog in my home, being able to cuddle a furry friend is something I have missed dearly. I am a fully remote worker and have availability to be with your pet the entire day. I don’t often leave my house except for errands or the gym. I have a backyard and live on a quiet street with a park within walking distance. I will be able to give full love and attention to your pet for the whole day.
“Zeus loved his stay. I enjoy receiving multiple pictures of my fur baby during his boarding. Abner went out of his way to pick up Zeus, for which I appreciated, and reduced some of my pre travel stress. I will be using him again.”

“Michele was great with Tito! She gave plenty of updates and photos. It was our first time using Rover in a long time, and Michele made it easy. 10/10 would definitely recommend her for any dog sitting needs!”

“Shaun and his family take great care of our pup Skye, who always comes home happy and tired. I feel extremely confident that Skye is treated as a part of their family.”

“Irem and her husband did a wonderful job in caring for our 3 month old puppy for a few nights. Irem was in constant contact and gave timely updates of our pup’s stay. You can tell she genuinely enjoyed having our puppy at her home and took thoughtful care of him. We will absolutely be using Irem again!”

“Paul was great looking after Nellie over thanksgiving! Sent a bunch of photos throughout the week of her with his family and gave updates throughout her stay. Nellie can be a bit shy initially and Paul gave her the time and patience to come out of her shell and fell more comfortable with his family. Will definetly use Paul again!”

“We used Morgan, and actually Rover.com, for the first time. My husband dropped off Laska (our hound mix rescue dog), and noticed that she seemed happy to go with Morgan. For us, this is a big deal because she's been through a lot. When we used the kennel Laska would fight us going in, and would come home stressed out and completely out of it. This was not the case after picking up Laska from Morgan's. Laska was clean, happy, and not stressed out! This was a first for her! Laska did have some separation anxiety, so she chewed her bed up. That was our fault because we forgot to tell Morgan about the routine that we have when we leave the house. As a result, we thought Morgan would tell us that she wouldn't watch Laska again, but to our delight, Morgan said she will take her in the future.”

“Maggie enjoyed her stay with Carolina! I felt very comfortable leaving Maggie there. I received updates and pictures during her stay. She also enjoyed playing with her dog Daisy! I will definitely be using Carolina again! Thank you so much Carolina for taking such good care of Maggie during her stay!”

“Erinn was great! She was very quick to respond to all my messages and updated me every day with how things were going with Mochi. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“6 stars needs to be on the scale. Been using rover for a while, Scott and his family are friendly, easy going and a joy to “work” with. Welcoming to are puppy (at the time of) Cheesy. He was transparent the entire stay with picture dumps and updates daily. Two thumbs up”
