About: Hi! My name is Marielys, and caring for animals is something I truly love and take very seriously. Responsibility is my greatest value, and I always care for every pet as if they were my own. What you can expect from me: • 🐾 Loving and responsible care • 🐾 Personalized attention • 🐾 Dog walks during their stay • 🐾 Regular updates with messages and photos • 🐾 Clear and constant communication for your peace of mind My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is safe, happy, and surrounded by love. Every pet is unique, so I always adapt to their individual needs, routines, personality, energy level, and comfort, ensuring they feel safe, understood, loved, and well cared for I believe every pet is unique, so I adapt my care to each pet’s specific needs and personality. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment, whether in my home or the client’s home, always respecting their routine. I pay close attention to their behavior, comfort, and emotional well-being, and I maintain open communication with owners to ensure their pets feel secure, cared for, and loved at all times.

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and stages of life. I’ve raised puppies from birth when my dogs had a litter, and I currently care for my senior dogs, so I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I’m reliable, attentive, and understand that every pet has different routines and needs. I’m also comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, administering basic medications, maintaining routines, and recognizing when a pet may not be feeling like themselves. I’m available Monday–Friday at any time and have a very flexible schedule. I’m currently studying for my state boards in occupational therapy, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I also work part-time at a pediatric clinic every other weekend, so I have additional weekend availability on the weekends I’m not working. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. My own dogs are seniors, so I’m very familiar with senior care, including making sure their food is soft and easy to eat as they’ve lost teeth, providing frequent bathroom breaks, keeping up with vet visits, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I also make sure they get appropriate exercise, fresh air, and plenty of time to relax and soak up the sun.
“I cannot recommend Dominga enough as a dog walker! She went above and beyond during her time with my dog, Tali. Not only did she walk Tali longer than scheduled, but she also took her to various parks that I absolutely loved. Tali always comes home happy and tired from all the fun and playing. It's clear that she enjoys her time with Dominga, and I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful dog walker for my baby Tali. I will continue with Dominga for dog sitting and walker. 🐕🦺 --- Feel free to adjust any part of it to better match your thoughts!”

About: I’ve been watching all sorts of pets ever since I can remember. My family and I have always been the go-to for friends and family needing a pet sitter. We used to take care of pets on Rover for 3 years and made friends with many clients and their pets. This time I’m doing it on my own. I have two dogs and one cat at home who all love each other. I go to Orlando every so often, so if I’m not available I am probably in Orlando! However, if my calendar says I’m unavailable, I still encourage you to send me a message and I might be able to watch your pups/cat anyway! Besides Orlando, I am very available right now, but starting Aug 24th I will have classes Mon & Wed from 9AM-2PM, & Fri from 9AM-12PM. I am planning on getting a part-time job in the future. I have a lot of experience in getting along with dogs and can do many things to check up on them such as refilling their food and water bowls, cleaning up any accidents or messes, playing with or walking them so they are tired out for the day, as well as any special instructions/needs your dog has. ‼️Also, My boyfriend usually joins me in taking care of pets, so please let me know beforehand if you’re not comfortable with that so I’m aware.‼️
About: Whether it’s a neighborhood walk or playing with a squeaky toy, I love the energy of having a furry friend around. Our family dog is getting old and having more animals in my life is just what I need🦴 I work freelance so I make my own hours! Perfect for me to fit in some care, attention, and treats for your pet❤️ (and would be a great mid-day pick-me-up) In your own home, I would be watching them closely: making sure the surrounding area is neat and comfortable for them, setting alarms for walks & meals, and always keeping a toy or two around! (And endless cuddles, of course)
“Valerie was amazing! She did a great job of walking our two senior dogs while my family and I went on vacation. She was always in constant contact and let us know if there was anything going on with our boys. I would highly recommend.”

“Stacie has been such a great walker for Bruno! She’s incredibly consistent, easy to communicate with, and very kind. Bruno loves her, and it’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she works with.”

About: I've been taking care of all breeds and sizes of dogs for the past 4 years, I've even fostered pitbulls, akita, and a great dane I have mostly open availability, any day and time your pet needs I'll be there. I want to make working with animals my only job :) I live in a large apartment but have plenty of fenced in community space to walk and play with dogs, there's also a few dog parks near me too. I make sure when sitting in a client's home that I don't disturb the space and that the pet is comfortable with my presence.
“Jenni is such a sweet woman and has such a love for animals! My boyfriend and I had to change our plans an annoying amount of times and Jenni accommodated us without hesitation. She’s so good with our girls! She even gave our girls an extra walk because she didn’t want them to wait to go potty until later that night. She sends us pictures and frequent updates when we are away to keep our mind at ease when we are missing our girls. We only want Jenni watching our fur babies from now on!! She’s the best!!”
“Briana is so good with my dog, Wally. Plus she is very flexible and understanding when something came up and I had to change plans. I absolutely love working with her and fully recommend her!”
About: I have trained my own dog from he was a puppy and was 12 years old. I loved caring for him and teaching him new things. Regardless of the dog breed I will watch the dog, I truly have a passion for dogs. So this is a great way for me to get involved with dogs. And love your dog as my own, this past August of 2024, I put my best friend down selflessly and just want to show same love I did to him to your little love. 🐶 Pet care is perfect for my routine because throughout the week I hardly work and with enough notice I can get the time off to dog sit. So I can play and stay with the dog for as long as you need during the week. When I take care of my own dog I love to use the harness because he chokes himself when he walks. I take him on a long walk until he pees and poops. Sometimes to loosen the dog up I will play with my dog to tire him out and let him have to go poop. I’m currently working part time and only receiving three days of work only a few hours, but I am available with set days off being Sunday and Wednesdays. I can typically request off with 2 weeks advance notice. I have a fenced in yard and no longer have a dog. So the sole attention and focus will be all on your dog. Your dog will be able to run in the fenced in back yard or go on long walks.
About: I grew up with pets both cats & dogs... I am a vegan for 3 years now & love all animals! You can trust & rely on me! My schedule & daily routine is flexible therefore I am available most days & time. It is rare for me to be unavailable so dont worry! I have an extra bedroom along with a fenced in yard & I can also crate your animal if preferred. I can adequately care for all pets.

I’ve had a great experience with Deena as my dog walker and would highly recommend her services. She is reliable, punctual, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. My dog warmed up to her immediately, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Deena provides regular updates, including photos and notes about each walk, which I really appreciate. It’s clear she pays attention to details like my dog’s energy level, behavior, and routine. I’ve also noticed a positive difference in my dog’s mood and overall well-being since we started working with her.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
