About: I’ve had cats and dogs for 50 years. I’ve used sitters for my pets and know how important they are when you leave. My dog was so sad to see my suitcase. So I know how much attention they need to feel better. Our pets are part of the family and need time and attention, and that’s how can help. I am currently retired and for the first time in my life animal free. So I am looking to help others and enjoy time with the pets. I can drive and be at your home as needed. About: I started to take care of my aunt’s dog when I was young. During COVID time I got my own Cavapoo and I eagerly learned how to train, feed and play with her everyday. Besides, I frequently helped to babysit friends dogs whenever they are out for vacation. Zach was absolutely wonderful! We needed a sitter last minute after realizing the National Parks we planned to visit the next day didn’t allow dogs. We were nervous at first as we had never left our dogs with a sitter and one of our girls is a very anxious senior. Zach was amazing and made us feel much more comfortable by updating us frequently during his visit and sending lots of photos! We could tell our dogs got some exercise as they were tired when we got home! We will definitely be using Zach in the future!
Ana is fantastic. She is taking care of our 3 month old puppy absolutely flawlessly. Ana really loves dogs and has an excellent feel for them. Our puppy loves her so much. She is very reliable and I feel so relieved someone like Ana is taking care of our little boy!
Ben did a great job with our three cats. He arrived reliably to take care of their necessities, and ensured each cat got some attention and play time. This was especially important for our most skittish cat who can be hard to coax out, especially when her brothers like to hog the toys. We immediately noticed when we got home that she was more interactive and assertive at play time which is fantastic. He always sent us pictures and short videos from each visit, and we looked forward to each of them daily. We would definitely hire him again.
Anna has done a really great job looking after Max, and we hope to continue working with her. It’s apparent that she takes the time to provide the proper care for him, and her updates in the report card are really appreciated. Max is very comfortable with her already, and as a senior deaf dog, he usually takes a bit to warm up to new people. Thank you for being a great sitter Anna!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
