Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. About: With over 15 years of hands on experience fostering more than 80 dogs, I've cared for puppies, seniors, medical cases, and dogs needing extra patience, confidence building, and socialization. Every dog is an individual, and I enjoy getting to know their unique personality and routine. I actively train (and occasionally compete) in agility, herding, trick training, scent and others with my dogs as well as helping introduce others to CPE Agility as an instructor at Clermont County Dog Training Club. This experience has given me a strong understanding of canine body language, safe introductions, and enrichment. I provide a calm, home based boarding experience with plenty of individual attention. I'm comfortable administering most medications, happy to follow your dog's routine, and require a meet-and-greet before every first stay. To ensure personalized care, I accept a maximum of two guest dogs (40 lbs or less) at a time. I work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision throughout the day. Guest dogs are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to step out, all dogs are safely crated for everyone's security. Outside breaks are offered every 2–3 hours (or more often if needed), with plenty of opportunities for sniffing, play, and relaxation. Most days include two walks, enrichment activities, and, when weather permits, a longer hike or adventure around the adjoining 150-acre property using secure long lines. Dogs who enjoy the water may also have the opportunity to splash in the pond or explore the creek with owner approval. Every dog's activity level is adjusted based on their age, fitness, personality, and your preferences. Your dog's safety and comfort always come first. Every new guest is required to complete a meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone is a good fit. Because my own dogs share the home, I look for guests who are dog-friendly or dog-tolerant. New dogs are introduced gradually, and crate-free time with my dogs only happens after I've assessed everyone's comfort and temperament. Dogs are continuously supervised while together, and I carefully manage interactions to keep the environment calm and positive. My home features approximately half an acre of securely fenced outdoor space, along with access to 150 acres for on-leash adventures. Guest dogs are never off leash outside the fenced yard; long lines are always used when exploring. Dogs are welcome on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise, and I'll happily follow your household routines and care instructions to help your dog feel at home. Please note this is a hobby farm with chickens and sheep on the premise. They will be secured away from the guest dogs.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl and that has been many many years ago. I have also worked as an animal tech and research assistant where I maintained animal colonies and worked with large animals. I believe having animals in your life is a blessing. I am retired and I love animals so I thought I would give some love and attention to the animals that need some attention while the owner is away from them. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs can run and play. I am also there with the dogs most if not all of the day.
