About: I spent my entire life around animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, who lived to be 18. Not long after that, my family adopted a puppy, and later two cats. I helped to train the puppy, I introduced the cats, and today they still thrive. Theoughout my childhood/teens, I learned about and cared for many-a-creature. Guinea pigs, rats, a hamster, sugar gliders, a hedgehog, and even a dove! My passion for animals has only grown. When I moved away, it was lonely, and I was quick to adopt a kitten. We were happy to find someone to feed our cats and take care of the litter boxes. However the day we arrived home we both noticed that the front door was unlocked. I'm thinking it's because in order to leave the key we told her she could exit the garage, so she may have forgotten to lock the front door at the end of her visit. Our neighbor noticed her coming and going several times and said she spent about 15 minutes each visit which makes sense since our cats hide when strangers come in, so to be fair there wasn't anything she could do after feeding and cleaning the litter boxes. The price is a bit steep though...15 minutes a day for 14 days equals $100 per hour, so no, we don't feel the need to leave a tip. Overall we feel she did her job well.
