About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.

I have cared for my clients pets throughout the years and have a genuine love for all animals. I also love the great outdoors with hiking being my favorite hobby. I am a mother of two teenage sons and spilt my time between Cincinnati and Atlanta in a long distance relationship. I offer services in both cities! The safety of your pet is my number one priority. I will ask for details about your pet's routine and behaviors to ensure your pet is properly and safely cared for. I will always stick to the information you give in the care instructions and I never hesitate to ask questions if something is not clear. I make sure to follow their schedules so they never miss a beat! I am alert and aware on walks to ensure everyone's safety. I look forward to meeting your pup! I'm available for dog walking everyday! I book same day walks from 6am to 10pm to meet the needs of your family. I am willing to travel with your pet to dog parks, hiking trails, and new sniff spots. About: I spent my entire life around animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, who lived to be 18. Not long after that, my family adopted a puppy, and later two cats. I helped to train the puppy, I introduced the cats, and today they still thrive. Theoughout my childhood/teens, I learned about and cared for many-a-creature. Guinea pigs, rats, a hamster, sugar gliders, a hedgehog, and even a dove! My passion for animals has only grown. When I moved away, it was lonely, and I was quick to adopt a kitten. He's almost 6 now! My pets are family, and yours are too. I will always care for a pet as if it were my own! I am currently working from home as a digital artist & jewelry maker, so I am able to set my own schedule and adapt as needed. I currently don't offer visits/walks on weekends, but this might change. Consider me a perfect pick for your pet while you're away during the work week! Whatever you need! I am able to clean litter boxes, crate dogs, play in the yard with your pups, or inside with toys if that's preferred! I am also familiar with Kongs & other enrichment toys.
