“I would recommend Stephanie and family! Stephanie provided day to day updates to keep me informed of Georgia's comfort level. While she has been timid around new people in the past, Georgia adapted well with this family. Thank you!”

“I was glad to have found Kim via Rover. My cousins were able to have lots of fun attending my son’s wedding knowing their fur baby Macchie was cared for very well. Kim was very accomodating! Such a good experience. Will choose her again in the future!”

“Our dog love his stay with Scott and Alycia. They were very accommodating, quick to communicate and sent us lots of pictures. William went on several walks, played tug with their dog and had a great time with them! Would recommend them to anyone!”

“Melissa and her family were very nice took excellent care of Zoe when we were away. She sent pictures and I could see that they were very kind to her and I loved that her young daughter was interacting with her also. Thank you again Melissa and I'd definitely ask again for you to take care of her next time.”

“Avery and her family did great with our boys! She was super responsive, and sent us updates and pictures while we were out of town. So glad to know our boys were in good hands. Will definitely use her again!”

About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.

“Nancy has been great with ou senior dog. She makes sure he feels comfortable and safe. Nancy takes him potty often especially because he's a senior dog. She is super flexible and has great communication. Both of her pupps do a great job with Domi as well. We will continue using her as long as she keeps Rovering.”

“I highly recommend Taylor, Brian, and their sweet boy, Shiloh! This was my first time leaving my rescue Scout, and I wasn't sure how she'd do. They took excellent care of her and sent updates and photos throughout my trip. Scout and Shiloh hit it off right away, and I think being in a home with another dog, rather than a boarding facility, helped Scout adjust to being away from me. This was a great experience from start to finish.”

“Jessica was absolutely the best pet sitter! She was so sweet and really loves animals! She has the best setup for watching them in her home! She had a nice area for my cat to be separate if he chose to from her pets - but her pets were awesome also! I highly recommend her to everyone! I had been super anxious and worried about leaving my kitty, but my mind was at ease and I could relax on vaca because I knew my kitty was being extremely well taken care of! She also sent daily pics and notes, which was so great! Thank you so much Jessica!”

“Amir took great care of our dog over the weekend! He was knowledgeable and thoughtful regarding the needs of our dog and made sure that he had the best care and experience. I would definitely recommend Amir to any other pet owners to care for their pets!”

“It was such a relief to have an actual home for my dogs to stay in with a yard they could run around in. I felt comfortable leaving them with Debbie and Randy. My boys seemed very happy and exhausted (yay for me!!) when I picked them up. I will be a returning customer!!”

“We can’t say enough about how great Dawn was with our two little dogs. They stayed with her for the first time for 5 days at the end of April. Since both are senior dogs, one is 16 and one is 14, we were a little concerned about how well they would do. And unfortunately, one morning, one of the dogs woke up having some rather serious issues. But Dawn was right on it! She immediately put him in the car and rushed him to MedVet, as we would have done. She called us on the way there, very calmly explained the situation and continued to keep us informed the entire time. She brought him home with medication and continued to give it to him until we could return the following day. All in all, as scary as it was, we couldn’t have asked for anyone to be more attentive or caring. We will definitely be leaving our two dogs with her again and have learned to trust that she is a true and kindhearted dog person. And by the way, all turned out well.”

“Dean had the most pawlicious day ever 🐾💛 As a rescue pup parent, I’m always a little extra cautious—but wow, they made it so easy to relax. We got so many sweet photo updates and little messages throughout the day, and each one felt like a mini window into Dean’s adventure. Honestly, I think he forgot we existed for a bit 😄 He played his heart out, explored, and looked SO genuinely happy in every single picture. You could just tell he felt safe, loved, and totally at home—which is everything we could ask for. Thank you for treating our boy like your own and giving him a day full of tail wags and joy. We’ll definitely be back for more Dean-approved playdates 🐶✨”

“Ryan was a great sitter for my dog Louie and I am so happy Louie and Ellie became good friends! I highly recommend Ryan for all of your pet sitting needs. The updates and pictures were very helpful throughout the day too.”

“Katie did such a great job watching Reggie while my husband and I were out of town for a few days! We received plenty of updates and could tell he was well taken care of when we picked him up. Will definitely be using Katie again!”

“Susan we great with our oddball fogs, Baxter and Wiley. Both dogs have anxiety issues and Susan was great to make them as comfortable as can be. She had 2 other dogs that she was sitting at the time and Baxter loved running the yard with them both. Wiley seemed to like the recliners in her “dog pad” in the basement. Without a doubt, we will call on Susan again!”

“Michelle was an excellent dog sitter. We knew Cookie was in safe hands while we enjoyed some Fall camping. When I got back into cell phone service on Sunday I was greeted with dozens of pictures of Cookie having fun and going for walks. He got a bath as well, and smells lovely. :-)”

“I'm glad my dog stayed with Alyssa as she was easy to contact, sent pictures and updates and recognized my dog's needs beyond the regular needs. Archie went on walks, she bought him a lick mat which I will use at home and Archie seems to have made new friends. Archie would love to come again! Thank you!”

“This was our first time using a Rover and Kelti was absolutely amazing! Our pup Willow had such a good time and was well taken care of. We appreciated all the updates and photos Kelti provided. We would definitely rebook with her again!”
