About: Hi I’m Zoë! I love all animals, big and small and have been around them my whole life. >I have owned many different types of animals: dogs, cats, fish, a ferret, guinea pigs, a hedgehog, ect... >I have experience with a spectrum of ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I am good with puppies in training, as well as senior dogs who need accommodations. >Right now I have a dog (Bailey, 3), a farm cat, a fish, and also a flock of ducks. >I also offer yard clean up services and homemade dogfood! >I have been working for Rover since 2023 after I graduated from OSU >I moved to Fairfield County in 2024 I currently work part time at a greenhouse and run my own business. Most of my days are very flexible and I am open to new short and long term clients! On Visits: I’m down stop in and visit your dog, or take them out on a walk in the yard or neighborhood. Feeding, playing, walking, trick training, giving medicine, and having hang time are all in my comfort zone. I can follow specific directions and trust my gut instincts. I love all dogs, big and small. They all have different personalities and I like to take my time to learn a dog and their preferences and tendencies. I always bring a treat with me on meet and greets if allowed, and I understand dog behavior enough to interpret their mood. For Dog Boarding: At my house, we have baby gates to separate the floors of the house, the cat stays upstairs most of the time. I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.

“We've had our dog, Jerry, stay with Dawn a few times and she continues to be WONDERFUL! She takes such great care of Jerry and we can tell Jerry loves staying with her! She sends daily updates and photos of our little guy so we can enjoy our vacation worry-free. Dawn is definitely our go-to person!”

“Deanna was excellent with Kobe. Kobe had been diagnosed with IVDD a day before he was scheduled to stay with Deanna. Deanna helped him in every way possible and then some, administered his meds and kept me up to date with everything. Highly recommended!”

“Joy was absolutely wonderful and even though Rocky had a bit of a tough 1st day she made sure he felt comfortable and adjusted to his new settings after a little while. Joy made sure to give us frequent updates and sent pictures as well. We will definitely use Joy in the future and appreciate her very much.”

“It is probably the best experience we had from Rover so far. They were great with Benji, he got plenty of attention and play which he needs! Also excellent updates with pics, we knew he was in good caring hands. Will definitely recommend and book again!”

“Michelle and Justin were wonderful! They took great care of Charlie Brown and sent photos and updates about how he was doing. It gave me a big peace of mind leaving Charlie with a family who will care well for him when we were out of town. We will definitely reach out in the future when we need someone to watch our Charlie!”

“I can’t recommend Kyra enough as a dog sitter! She was absolutely incredible—professional, friendly, and kind. She took amazing care of my dogs and made the whole experience stress-free. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Paige took such great care of Teddy and made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and Teddy clearly adored her. We’ll 100% be booking with Paige again!!”

“Pam and Tallaferro did an amazing job with Shade. I received daily updates and pictures which let me know she was safe. I’d recommend them to any dog owner who’s looking for a safe and fun home for a few days while away for work or a vacation.”

“Jaz was the perfect sitter! Had to book extremely late and at an unfortunate time (don’t be like me) because the sitter I had flaked last minute. My dog was comfortable with her within the first hour! She’s extremely professional and an all-around great person. I’d definitely book again!”

“Our very energetic pup, Bessie, stayed with Karla for a week. We were so grateful for Karla’s thoughtfulness and experience with dogs. Bessie had a blast with Karla and her two dogs. She provided thorough daily updates and was so flexible when we experienced travel delays! We highly recommend Karla!”

“If you're looking for someone who will love your dog like their own, book Tianne! Monza is my whole world and Tianne made her feel so safe, happy, and right at home. The photo updates of her playing with the other pets and getting cozy by the fire were everything, it made my heart so warm knowing she was that loved and comfortable while I was away.💕 You can tell this is someone who genuinely adores animals. Thank you, Mrs. Tianne — we will definitely be booking with you again for anything Monza needs!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Amanda home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Amanda.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Amanda sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
