“Cristi did a great job caring for my dog for a long trip we were on. She is very responsive and was easy to work with, especially considering some of the unusual aspects of our trip uncertainties. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great boarder!”

“Elizabeth did a wonderful job taking care of Sofie. She even got Sofie to go on a walk, which she usually will do only with me! Elizabeth sent frequent photos as this was Sofie's first time staying with her and her boys. The whole family was very loving and caring towards Sofie.”

“Karen is kind, loving, patient and intuitive with the pups. We always know when Karen has our dog she is in exceptional hands. Her home is well positioned for them pups with multiple spaces. An amazing soul.”

About: Hi I’m Zoë! I love all animals, big and small and have been around them my whole life. >I have owned many different types of animals: dogs, cats, fish, a ferret, guinea pigs, a hedgehog, ect... >I have experience with a spectrum of ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I am good with puppies in training, as well as senior dogs who need accommodations. >Right now I have a dog (Bailey, 3), a farm cat, a fish, and also a flock of ducks. >I also offer yard clean up services and homemade dogfood! >I have been working for Rover since 2023 after I graduated from OSU >I moved to Fairfield County in 2024 I currently work part time at a greenhouse and run my own business. Most of my days are very flexible and I am open to new short and long term clients! On Visits: I’m down stop in and visit your dog, or take them out on a walk in the yard or neighborhood. Feeding, playing, walking, trick training, giving medicine, and having hang time are all in my comfort zone. I can follow specific directions and trust my gut instincts. I love all dogs, big and small. They all have different personalities and I like to take my time to learn a dog and their preferences and tendencies. I always bring a treat with me on meet and greets if allowed, and I understand dog behavior enough to interpret their mood. For Dog Boarding: At my house, we have baby gates to separate the floors of the house, the cat stays upstairs most of the time. I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.
“Stockton had such a great time with Maolin, and he has major separation issues. She made him feel comfortable instantly and took him on a lot of awesome adventures! Would definitely book again!”

“Joe has quickly become our go to sitter! Hank was so excited to see him and Duke! As nervous dog parents we feel like we’re actually able to relax when we’re away as we know he’s in very good hands. Thanks again for the great care you provide!”

“Felt so comfortable with our puppy being with Justen. He communicated with us every day and made sure King felt at home. Justen is a very nice person I highly recommend him if you need someone to take care of your fur baby.”

“My dog Bella has been cared for by Andrew twice now, and both times she’s been absolutely happy and well taken care of. The second time we went my dog got excited as we pulled up to the house, remembering what a good time she had during her last visit. Highly recommended!”

“Emily and her family took excellent care of Greyson. He was treated like family and enjoyed the extra large fenced yard with two other dogs of his size. Fabulous pictures and just a great experience all the way around. We will be a returning customer for sure. Thank you”

“Look no further - Nate and Aylissia are the sitters you want for your pet! They are phenomenal. They made me feel completely at ease from the moment I met for a meet-and-greet. Their pups were a great addition to the stay, making the experience feel like a true vacation for my dog while I was away. Nate and Aylissia sent photos, videos and updates daily from t not only inside their very clean home but also from their beautiful, lush green backyard. Overall, I felt like my dog was safe and loved! I would not hesitate using them for as you next sitter!”

“Victoria is amazing! Constant video updates and our puppy has never looked happier to have so many dogs and a puppy to play with and to be cuddled on the couch. He's also learning alot, thank you so much for being so kind, communicative, helpful, and a great host!”

“Kyla was great! She was able to watch our dogs on short notice, and was super kind and loving towards our dogs. Would definitely book with her again, and recommend her to anyone!”

About: My property has 1-acre of fenced space where your pup can run around until their heart’s content. If you have a senior pup, a young puppy, or a dog with complex medical needs, you have found the right home. Having loved and cared for my own Akitas through major health challenges—including blindness—I am completely comfortable managing complex medication schedules, topical treatments, oral meds, and injections. As an experienced dog and puppy foster (who even once fostered a litter of nine puppies!), I understand canine body language and know how to support anxious or transitioning pets. Rest assured, your pup will be cared for and welcomed with open arms no matter their situation. Pet care is my full-time job right now. I am generally away from the home for no more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to be away for longer, I will ensure you are aware in advance. I have a fenced backyard and three dogs of my own who will keep your pup company. My own dogs are a senior male, fully blind American Akita, an adult female pug mix, and a male puppy pug mix (the adult female’s puppy). I ensure all dogs are kept separate during mealtime and, as needed, during playtime where dog toys may be involved. I have crates and playpens, extra dog dishes, and plenty of indoor and outdoor toys for your pup to use as much or as little as they want. My own dogs love to cuddle and sleep on the couch and bed, and your pup is welcome to as well, as long as it’s okay with you. I’m happy to provide updates throughout your pup’s stay based on a frequency you’d prefer to ensure you feel comfortable with their time in my care.

“We had such a great experience with Yissette! She was very responsive, communicative, and kept us updated throughout Mochi’s stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. Mochi had such a fun time playing with her dog, Bella, and it was so nice seeing how happy and comfortable she was. We really appreciated the care and attention she gave Mochi and would definitely book with her again! 🐾💕”

“pup was happy and well cared for. We appreciate them watching her at the last minute. They evn gave her a good brushing before we picked her up - highly recommendeed”

“Oreo had a great stay with Jana and her family. They took such good care of my elderly dog and made sure he had activity time and gave him all his meds and gave him care and attention. He got along with their dog, which isn't always easy for my Oreo. I was sent many pictures each evening so I could see how my buddy was enjoying his stay. I highly recommend Jana and Hannah (hope I got that right). I will definitely rebook with them.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wesley Chapel
Dana and her family are always fantastic with Atlas! Dana is super accommodating, very communicative, and especially trustworthy. Atlas has been staying with her since he was about 5-6 months old and her (+family) have been exceptionally supportive of him as he's grown and developed his own personality intricacies. 10/10 would always recommend Dana to anyone needing a sitter, but also 100/10 for anyone looking for someone who will learn and pay attention to their doggoes' specific needs.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wesley Chapel home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wesley Chapel.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wesley Chapel sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
