“Ashleigh was exceptionally caring and looked after Teddy like he was one of her own! Very good communication and I will definitely be sending my friends and family her way.”

“Dana, has done a outstanding job with my Duke boy! He is a stubborn at times, but Dana did just what I told to do. Awesome job I couldn’t be more happier with her. Thank you Sherry”

“Elizabeth and her family were wonderful. She kept us updated on our Fur baby which was very helpful. It was our first time being away from home, so we were a little anxious about the process. She made it very easy for us and we will definitely use her services again! In fact I'm pretty sure that Fur baby wants a playdate!”

“Lauren looked after my baby while I was out of town, I was nervous because it was his first time spending the night away from me, but it’s safe to say that he had the time of his life! He was able to socialize with other dogs which was definitely a plus for me, she was also super sweet and professional. So happy to have found her ❤️”

“Wonderful as always!! Bueller loves visiting Karen and it makes our time away so much easier knowing he is in good hands! Thanks for loving on our boy ☺️”

“Deanna took great care of our pup and was sure to send lots of updates with cute photos and videos. Our dog had fun playing with hers and running around in her spacious yard!”

“Joe is our go to sitter! We always have peace of mind knowing that Hank is well taken care of and getting all the cuddles! He’s still snoring from all the fun he had with his pal Duke this weekend! Highly recommend!”

“We are very happy with the care that Angie provided to our dog! He was in great spirits after his weekend stay - it seemed like he had a lot of fun and made some new friends! We also really appreciated the daily updates with photos - it meant a lot to be able to see our guy and know he was doing well while we were gone! We will definitely rebook in the future!”

“We were super nervous about leaving our dog with a stranger, but Alexandria immediately put us at ease with her amazing reviews and thoughtful profile. From the very beginning, we felt confident our dog was in great hands. She sent multiple updates and pictures every day, which truly meant the world to us. Honestly, after a few days, I was worried our dog wouldn’t even want to come back home! 😄 We would absolutely trust Alexandria again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care.”

“Shannon's one of the only people my dog (a Velcro border collie/aussie mix) has run to in excitement to hang out instead of dread in the knowledge that I'm leaving her. I travel easily knowing my Hallie is getting a mini-vacation of her own while I'm out of town 🩵🩵”

About: We are the biggest dog lovers and own four dogs ourselves-a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Vizsla, and two Miniature Schnauzers—so we have plenty of experience with dogs big and small. We have been pet-sitting for friends and family for years and work from home so your pup will have round-the-clock company. Our house has a fully fenced backyard with a magnetic screen door so they will have access to the outside whenever they want. Our dogs also love to play with other dogs, and are very friendly and chill. We have experience with senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, so if your pet has medication needs, we can make sure your pup stays on schedule with whatever they need. I think you will quickly find that your dog becomes part of our family and we treat them as our own, and your pup will view their stay with us as a relaxing vacation and want to return again and again. One of us is always working from home, so there will never be a time when your pet is alone. We tend to be homebodies, and will schedule social events around the care of your pet. We have a fully fenced backyard and generally leave the backdoor open during the day so that the dogs can go in/out at their own leisure. We live in a quiet neighborhood so if your dog prefers to be walked, the neighborhood is self-contained, off the main road and fully sidewalked. Your dog will have full run of the house, and is even permitted to be on furniture! We also have a variety of dog beds and crates for whatever style your dog prefers to sleep or relax. And if your dog likes to sleep in bed—well I guess we can oblige :) We also live approximately 5 minutes from a dog park, so your pup can also go on a fun field trip while in our care (or if you prefer for them to stay at our house only, that's fine as well). We are also less than a mile from MedVet, so in case of any emergency, we can ensure your pet's medical needs are taken care of quickly.
“Nate & Aylissia were AMAZING!! They were accommodating and booked me same day. They provided frequent updates and took great care of my Puggle. I would highly recommend them!!”

“Zeke had so much with Dajon and his family , anytime I need a sitter or dog daycare , I would choose him every time, he kept me updated with pics and videos the whole time he had Zeke.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
