I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.

“Charity is an absolute godsend! I had a problem with this last-minute trip this weekend, and I had not called her to cover taken care of my three cats, because I do have a feeder Robot for short term trips… However, we had a power outage, and that resets the machine, and it no longer turns on after that, and my boys were gonna be hungry! I called her at the last minute to see if she could be there for two days, and she replied positively which was wonderful! Unfortunately, we had a whole mess load of snow after I left, which cost her family some issues, and she had to take care of some stuff, but she still got to me and the boys and got them fed and watered, and I so appreciate that… Family comes first in my book, but even after she got done that she still got to me and that’s so wonderful And I can’t thank her enough for all she does! About: I will walk and work with your dog to teach manners with positive reinforcement. I have trained 3 danes, plus labs growing up. Lots of compliments and praises on my current pup, from former trainers! Id love to be able to pass on some of my knowledge and experience to anyone who needs help. We have a large yard, though not fenced, I will go outside with them each time to use the bathroom. About: I planned a dog adoption event with the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center and Shelter for my senior project! I've been taking care of my own pets my whole life and have been pet sitting for two years. I have one dog named Banjo, as well as three cats. I foster kittens through the Fairfield Area Humane Society! I'm currently a college student with classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at OUL. I'm available every day of the week. I just recently adopted a rescue puppy that is 4 months old and have a 13 year old senior dog. I love dogs of all ages and energy levels! I am a stay at home mom and both of my kids are in school during the day. I’m looking to find some furry friends to spend my day with. I treat my dogs like I treat my kids and make sure they’re cared for. We play, go outside, go on walks, get treats, and go to the dog park. I watch and listen to them to see how much energy they have that day.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. At 12 years old I volunteered at Petland and worked with taking care of the puppies there. Then when I was 13 I was working with horse at a farm. When I turned 16 and could get a job I started working at a pet store and learning pet nutrition. Then I got a second job started working at a kennel I started out as a kennel tech and now I am a dog trainer. I’m currently working full time at a dog training facility. I typically work there from 10am to about 3pm each day. I also typically work on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. I have three fur babies that has 7.5 acres of land to fun and play. I also know a lot about pet nutrition so my dogs get fed some of the best food.

Feeding, playing, walking, trick training, giving medicine, and having hang time are all in my comfort zone. I can follow specific directions and trust my gut instincts. I love all dogs, big and small. They all have different personalities and I like to take my time to learn a dog and their preferences and tendencies. I always bring a treat with me on meet and greets if allowed, and I understand dog behavior enough to interpret their mood. For Dog Boarding: At my house, we have baby gates to separate the floors of the house, the cat stays upstairs most of the time. I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.
