“Alexa did a fabulous job! She was a life-saver— she came last-minute a day early when we accidentally screwed up our schedule. The cats loved her and she went above and beyond sending us additional videos and messages. We will definitely rebook!”

“Always the best caregiver for my boys! Plus, she’s willing to do stuff like bringing in the boxes that I didn’t realize we’re gonna be delivered last night and today… So much fun these things come to me when I don’t plan for them!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Raised from a puppy to senior and believe they are wonderful blessings to everyone. My personal pets have been pugs, English bulldogs, dachshunds, rottweilers, pit bulls, and many more growing up. I enjoy getting to know each dog or cat’s need and have them enjoy their time with me. My goal is to make your dog or cat feel comfortable when you are away from home. I work remotely and letting your dog out often is never an issue. If I’m out on Saturday or Sunday it’ll only be for an hour or two. We will take breaks often to let your dog feel comfortable. When I am caring for your pet in your home, I want to know their preferences and what makes them the most comfortable while you are away. If they have a special blanket or toy, please let me know so they can have something to keep them happy while I’m there. I also want to know what makes you as the pet parent most at ease. Help me support you and your pet.
“Mackenzie was AMAZING! She was on time, respectful, and very communicative! She went above and beyond when taking care of my animals and I highly recommend her! I hope to be using her services again! Thanks Mackenzie!”

“This was my first time ever using a petsitter. I was worried that with Lily needing a pill crushed up and added to her food that it was going to be hard to find someone. Chloe was amazing. I gave her all the instructions, showed her where everything was and she showed up on time for each meal. We take weekend trips here and there and I'm hoping this will be the start of a great connection for Lily and Mistletoe.”

“Been working with Yvonne for several months to watch our pups every week and they love her so much!! She takes amazing care of them, is flexible, follows directions. Truly a perfect fit for our dogs!”

“Madelyn did a great job on the Drop in Visits for my fur babies! She sent me updates and made sure they were well taken care of. I definitely recommend her and will be booking with her in the future.”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and bring both experience and genuine care to every pet I watch. I was raised on a farm surrounded by animals, and I’ve owned dogs for most of my life, including a small dog I cared for over 16 years. I currently have an 8-month-old Golden Retriever puppy, so I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, routines, and reinforcement of basic training. I work as a teacher Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Because of this, I’m most available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and overnight stays during the week. My schedule also allows for consistent availability on weekends, holidays, and school breaks, which gives me extra flexibility for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routines and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship outside of my work hours.

About: I have experience in home health care for the elderly, often providing support that extends to their pets as well. My experience with pets have been primarily dog walking for clients, feeding, pet/home maintenance I’m currently making myself entirely open to this experience into pet care as to making this my career. I enjoy being connected more with present life, and I feel as taking care of animals would set me on that track. I offered care to pets by fulfilling their needs, wants, and offering companionship. I also intend on extending care to making the environment more hygienic for the pet.

About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. I treat every animal as they were my own. I have two dogs and one cat of my own and all are rescued and very loving. I want you to know while your gone working hard your babies are cared for the best they could be. I've never came across an animal that hasn't loved me and that I haven't loved. I will give endless amounts of hugs and kisses if anything thats what I'll do too much of. Thank you can't wait to hear from owners :) I work from home and I'm here available all day we take potty breaks every 2 hours and exercise time. We give love care attention here I have 2 loving dogs who love other animals and a big maine coone cat who loves attention and playing my kids love to help out also

About: I’ve been around animals longer than I can remember. Previously a full time developmental puppy trainer and growing up with dogs, cats and farm animals, I now have 2 cats and 1 dog of my own. I have a passion for what I do and take great pride in giving amazing care to your pets. I have experience with all ages, all sizes and all breeds. Medication? No problem! I have experience with diabetic pets, therefore I am able to give injections or oral medications if needed! Previously a full time developmental puppy trainer, I have taken on a more independent role. I am available full time and I am very adventurous on my free time and love going hiking with my pup. I would love to allow your pet to join along in the fun! Whether you need a daily walk, weekly care, or going out of town, I can make sure your furry family members are loved and cared for. I make sure to build trust and a bond with the pets and safety is my biggest priority! When walking dogs, must be provided with leash and collar/harness or fenced in yard.
About: I have watched and taken care of dogs since I was 16! From Dobermans to Shih Tzu’s! I have roughly 10 years so experience. Neighbors, friends, family have all trusted me with their fur babies. I love all animals and have even taken care of chickens, and other various farm animals! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! Right now on the days I do work (just three days a week) it’s typically from 3:30-9 or 5-10. I plan on doing drop in visits and walks since I have a little family of my own! Your pup and I can play as long as needed for drop in visits and go on however long of a walk they normally go on! I can easily and tentatively follow care instructions and if they need to be crated or anything of the sort!
About: I have 6 animals- 4 cats & 2 dogs. I have always had such a connection with animals, I enjoy taking care of them & bonding, I have fostered dogs & my animals were all adopted from shelters. I am able to overnight sit for the fur babies, cats included- as well as walking the animals, feeding, bathing, playing, you name it! I work Monday through Friday I would be available in the evenings after work & early mornings on the weekends! I work from home Monday and Tuesdays so I can provide doggy daycare during those days as well. I do have animals myself so I typically would come home feed and let them out and then I am available all evening! In my clients home I can take them on walks if a yard with a fence is available I still will go out with them have playtime, & still take them on the occasional or everyday walks if that is preferred! I will feed & look after them as well if dog sitting is requested rather than just a walk - I can also help practice things that the dog parent is wanting like crate training, training in general.. I also watch cats so I can play with them, feed & look after also
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for 15 years. I have also worked at a vet clinic on kennel stuff and have administrated medication for both cats and dogs. I have a car that I can take dogs to the park and walk as well as being able to get to clients houses. I take care of all animals as if they are my own.
“This particular visit was a meet and greet for a last minute house sitting. Her and her boyfriend were very professional, respectful and attentive to the needs my dogs have. My dogs seemed very excited to meet the both of them.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
