“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Kathi and Steve! It was our first time ever leaving our Shih Tzu, Luna, with anyone, and we were so nervous. We met them a week before to see how Luna would react to them and their dogs, and she felt instantly comfortable—which made things much easier for us. While we were away, Kathi and Steve kept us updated regularly with photos and videos, and seeing how happy Luna was truly allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry. We were attending a volleyball tournament and had a long drive home, but they were so gracious about our late pickup, making us feel like it was no issue at all. When we got Luna back, she was happy and well cared for, which means the world to us. We highly recommend Kathi and Steve and will absolutely trust them with Luna again in the future!”

For this reason, I don’t typically accept house sitting, but may make exceptions for short stays under a week if they are nearby and align with my availability. I do offer drop-in visits when my schedule allows and am fully accepting boarding, where I can provide consistent and loving care. I tailor my pet care based on each pet’s routine and needs, whether in my home or the client’s. In the client’s home, I maintain their pet’s usual feeding, walking, and play schedule to provide comfort and consistency. About: I’ve been around pets ever since I was 5 years old, and have taken care of them by myself ever since I was 10. I have a vast amount of knowledge in caring for dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. I even have experience helping momma dogs give birth. If your pets are on any type of medication do not worry I will take care of that for you. I also have some knowledge in training as I have trained every dog I have owned. I am currently at home almost 24/7 the only times I’m not is if I have to run so errands, but I’m never out for more than 3 hours especially if I have any pets being boarded with me. If you need me to come by and check on your pet/pets I can come by as often as needed. I do have 3 dogs living with me one is mine one is my mom’s and one is my brother’s. They all stay downstairs and whenever I have any pets staying with me they will be with me in my room which is upstairs. They will have the whole upstairs to themselves as it is gated off. If you do not wish for your pets to come in contact with mine I will make sure of that. If your dogs are dog friendly and you don’t mind them playing with other dogs I will introduce them to only my boy to have some play time. I live of 5 acres and have a huge backyard plenty of room to get their energy out. Your pets will always be watched when outside. I also live close by to a park that I can take your fur baby’s on a walk at. If your pets need to be crated at night I ask if you can provide the crate and I’ll set it up right in my bedroom. If your dogs are potty trained and are used to sleeping in bed I will allow them to sleep with me. If you happen to have any other questions feel free to ask me.

“She’s a GODSEND <3 •she was available last minute: family emergency came up and she took Lala Mae in like she was her own. •1:1 care: I had booked with another rover app dog sitter who cared for up to 8 dogs at a time. Estrella took care of my furbaby and gave her the attention she needed while under her care while providing a safe environment. •consistent updates: pictures galore and I loved them ALL! Felt reassured my pet was in great hands (: •Walks on walks on walks: my pet is a blue heeler mix and is in need of A LOT of exercise. While I’m new to professional pet sitting, I have years of hands-on experience caring for family pets, rescue dogs, and foster dogs. I have experience raising puppies, including helping care for a litter of 11 German Shorthaired Pointer puppies. I’m also experienced with high energy dogs that need plenty of exercise, attention, and patience. In addition, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs, including my current 15 year old Dachshund and senior Basset Hounds. I’m currently home for summer break from Texas A&M, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me, especially during the Texas heat. On very hot days, I prefer to schedule walks during cooler parts of the day to help keep dogs safe and comfortable while still making sure they get exercise, attention, and playtime. I have a fully fenced yard along with two large covered kennels that provide shade, running water, and plenty of room for dogs to stay comfortably. While the boarding setup is primarily outdoors, I make sure dogs have space, supervision, exercise, and regular interaction throughout the day. I also provide playtime, walks, and attention to help pets feel comfortable and cared for while away from home. I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. I also have dogs of my own, including a puppy and senior dog. For safety, visiting dogs would not directly interact with my pets, though they may be around them in the same environment. I always aim to create a safe, calm, and caring environment while following any routines or instructions provided by owners to help pets feel as comfortable as possible.
