“Michelle was the best Rover ever! She came with extensive experience with animals at the Humane Society, which is just what Spirit needed. Spirit was a rescue and although very well adjusted to her new home, having the most experienced and loving caretaker. At our meet and greet, Michelle asked about all of her needs, medical and how to play with her. She was an instant friend with organic buffalo treats on our meet and greet. In our week away we got daily updates with wonderful pictures of Spirit doing her favorite things from eating to playing with her favorite toys. The bubbles, the balls and her wand. She was a happy well fed cat while we were gone. She even turned up the heat on a cold day in Forestville. Michelle was a fantastic Rover and Spirit and her family were very grateful to have fo”

“Berenice is amazing! She is the first cat sitter we've had that also sends daily video updates, along with photos. She even brought a brush and toys with her and our cat LOVED being brushed. We came home to a happy cat, who is now waiting at the door for Berenice to come back 😅 We will definitely be hiring Berenice again 💗”

“Oli did a great job with her visits. We especially appreciated getting the photos of Perseus during her visits. It gave us peace of mind to know he was being well taken care of while we were away.”

“Isabella was wonderful! She came over to meet us a few days early and get acquainted with our cat and home. She sent us pictures regularly and made sure to spend plenty of time at home during the day (our cat is very attention-needy). It's really obvious when we've had a less attentive sitter - our cat gets stressed easily and quickly drops weight / stops grooming herself when stressed so it was a huge relief to come home to a happy, purring and clean cat. The apartment was cleaned before her stay and she even kept the place immaculately clean! We hope to keep Isabella as our go-to sitter:)”

About: Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions in life. I have over 30 years of experience and have cared for many different animals including horses, bearded dragons, goats, sheep, hamsters, ducks, chickens, fish, snakes, and of course, dogs and cats. I had a little farm in Illinois before I moved to California in 2015. On this farm, I rescued and cared for chickens, kittens, dogs, and goats. I have experience with training puppies as well as providing extra care to aging animals. I look forward to meeting you and your pets. I have a flexible schedule and can come to your home to care for your pets any day of the week, longer stays are available upon request. I can drop in to care for your pets when needed. Overnight stays are available upon request. I go the extra mile to ensure your home and your pets are cared for.

About: I grew up in a household that always had a pet dog, cat and at times other rodents and reptiles. I have always loved animals, so I helped a lot with pet care at home and with neighbors. Horses have aways been my favorite, I started lessons at 10 and started working around 14. I am 26 and have been in the industry since then. I have ranch sat for properties with over 100 different individual animals including horses, pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, chickens, dove, quail, rabbits, dogs and cats. I have also had job positions where I am solely responsible for 8 horses on a remote ranch on an island with no vet on it. Although this is less dog experience it shows my ability to handle responsibility and provide excellent house sitting and animal care. I have also watched and helped care for roommates and friends' dogs and cats throughout my life. Basically, my life has always involved caring for a plethora of animals including dogs and cats. I just moved back home after travelling and I do not have a set routine yet. Therefore, I am currently available whenever! This will eventually change. I care for pets with the utmost attention to detail with the goal of having a good time! I am very respectful of other people's spaces, beliefs, training methods, etc. When caring for pets in a client's home it is fairly simple. I just follow the instructions given and ask questions as needed. The important thing in my opinion is clear communication. I try to maintain the pet's routine as closely as possible as I believe that helps decrease stress in transition and change. I am very active so love to take dogs on walks and runs. I love spending time with animals, but I do provide firm boundaries. Unless I am asked to use a handling methodology or strategy, I mostly use positive reinforcement and reserve negative reinforcement for potential dangerous situations.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats & other pets since I was a teenager. I can also take care of other pets if necessary. Thanks! I am very flexible with my availability. Being outside with nature is necessary for my well being so pet care is second nature to me. I will take great care of your fur bbs in your home. I will give them pets, snuggles, food & play with them! I will be present with your pets while you are away to ease their separation anxiety & make sure they have the proper care.

About: We enjoy meeting different animal personalities and being inspired by their energy and emotional support. We live and work in Sebastopol. Frequently dog/house sit for friends and family. We are very flexible and can make ourselves available for whatever is best for your pet. Trying to make this a full time job, we're here for you! We are very calm, loving people. We understand not all pet personalities are the same and know how to build a relationship with your pet.

“Casey was a wonderful sitter for my senior kitty. She followed all instructions and played with her and sent reports and photos often and that really put my mind at ease. My cat seemed glad to see me but not overly needy. I would definitely use Casey again!”

“Clair is the best! Trusting someone with our baby has been tough, and she makes us all feel comfortable every step of the way. She also pays attention to important details and is flexible and reliable.”

About: I've house-sat, dog-sat, and farm-sat since I was a kid, taking care of everything from a pregnant Labrador Retriever to a flock of sheep. Growing up in 4-H I learned a lot about training all kinds of animals, and was awarded High Point in Obedience (for both on leash and off leash) and Best Handler numerous times at our local county fairs' dog shows. I work from home, and my flexible hours allow me to set my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets! I am vigilant in my animal care, with my own animals and with other's. After raising a number of puppies I understand the importance of consistency, routine, fairness in expectations, and (most of all) frequent potty breaks!

About: I grew up with cats, dogs, and horses and am very confident in caring for them. I have plenty of time in my schedule to make sure that I am giving them the attention and care that they need while you are away! I am also knowledgeable on how to administer medications and special food. I am a student with a lot of free time due to some of my classes being online so pet care will fit into my schedule very easily! I pay attention to changes in pet behavior and have experience with knowing when something may be off. I want pets to feel comfortable and happy and am very thorough in their care.

“Betsy was great! My kitty isn’t very friendly but doesn’t seem scared of Betsy at all, so that is really comforting. She is very responsive and sent a picture. Next time we are out of town we will definitely be using Betsy to check on our kitty!”

Sabrina W.
“To Whom it may concern: Sabrina Rose is the Best dog sitter. I have been friends with Sabrina Rose for over a decade, and she is my go to for any dog related happenings. When I go out of town for a few weeks or a month, she will stay at my apartment and take fabulous care of my 3 dogs. If I am stuck at work, she will make time and go walk the dogs. I am not sure who loves who more...Sabrina Rose or the pups. I highly recommend Sabrina Rose as a caring, knowledgeable, and loving individual to mind your loved ones.”

Joshua S.
“Josh is a caring, active and responsible dog and house sitter. My dog is a Shiba Inu, very active, dog aggressive, untrained sweetheart ?. I feel totally confident in her care when Josh is with her, and I trust very few people with my walking chaos of a dog. Josh walks, plays, hikes, and sits with her! Josh will be loved by your dog, cause mine is very picky of humans too, but went to him instantly. Josh has also house sit for me since kenneling my dog is hard. The apartment was cleaner than I left it I think. It was great knowing my stuff and dog were being looked over by Josh. Pick him!!!!”

Alexis was great! My kitty is usually very shy & hides for at least the first 5 minutes when meeting someone new, but not with Alexis. She hung out with her right from the start & even let her play with her a bit. I was really able to relax while away, knowing she was being well cared for.
