“Heather did an amazing job with our two large dogs. We have an 85lb Belgian Malinois who came to us from a kill shelter with a bite history, and is insecure around strangers in general. He warmed right up to her (I think he fell in love) and didn't want her to go!! Heather was even able to shave off a giant patch of hardened tree pitch from his belly, which I didn't get to before I left! (Remember, he is a Belgian and they climb trees) Our other dog is an older German Shepherd and Heather took amazing care of her as well, giving her walks and medicine when needed. Usually when we return from a trip the dogs freak out and are super needy, wanting attention because they have been ignored, and hyper because they have not been exercised well. Not the case here!! They acknowledged us and went to bed, the perfect response. Finally, I must say that if I hadn't seen the sheets in the wash I would have never thought she actually lived here during that time. The house was immaculate. If I could, I would adopt Heather into our family!”

I’m currently working part time as a babysitter so my schedule is quite flexible. Tuesdays are taken up but outside of that I’m very flexible! I have a dog friendly home with an open back yard. All dogs will be leashed at all times whether in your home or mine. Dogs in my home are dog friendly as well!

About: Hi! I’m Jeff I currently have 8yo black/white male Husky named Thorik and a 5yo red/white female Husky named Willow. Willow is actually my sisters dog and stays with her, but her and Thorik are together every day out at our family’s place. They are both well balanced dogs and will get along with anyone who decides to come for a visit. They will kiss you to death though so be prepared! I live on my family’s 180 acre old farm in the country just outside of the Otsego/Alamo area. I am out there every single day, especially in the Summer months, so that Thorik has a safe place to play and swim if he wants. Should you decide to book with me, and with your permission, your pets can enjoy unlimited fenced in yard time along with as much swimming as they’d like! I currently work for a Petcare provider here in Kalamazoo. My week consist of multiple visits for multiple clients a day, this does however allow me plenty of time throughout the day to return home and take care of anything I need to, your pets included! Out at the farm I do have a fenced in backyard away from the road that provides the dogs, a safe, secure place to play. Any time the dogs are not outside playing, or they are at my apartment in the evenings, they are inside the house with me free to do as they please.

I’m moving back to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 15, and I’m hoping to buy a home in the summer of 2027. About: I have experience with just about every type of pet regardless of age. I have experience with kittens and puppies as well as rescues with high care needs as well as their medication schedules. I began pet sitting when I was very young and have always loved it. I have special experience with caring for dogs with trauma and special situations. It is my privilege to meet those needs. I am available every weekday before 8:45 and every weeknight after 5pm. On weekends I have full day availability on Saturday and Sunday. Currently I am a happy lover of my two dogs and cats at home and my cat Tonka Truck. I usually begin my day with feeding and letting them out and repeat that after shifts. Apart from the usual litter box changes and feeding, it’s necessary to give my older dog medication in the middle of the day. These routines fit well in my life. I care for pets with a high degree of input from clients. While I do have a lot of experience with pet care, it is ultimately your baby and you know your pet best. Any suggestions, rules, and schedules are my privilege to abide by. I cannot care for pets in my own home due to the trauma needs of my own pets, but I am very conscious of house preferences and pet needs in clients’ homes. I am flexible with play schedules and meal times and have become efficient at administering medication from experience with my own dogs. I am also able to meet any sanitation and safety preferences during this time.
