I am a stay at home mom who loves animals and would like something to do during the summer with my kids. I can do it at any time I have a short yard that my dog runs in all the time. About: I’ve been taking care of our 8 animals since I was 8 when I turned 15 I got my own puppy and potty trained him myself and taught him tricks myself. I am very responsible with dogs and feel I would be a good fit for you :) I am currently am on summer break on college and will be available 24/7 for your animals needs. Pets free roam my open concept living space while I work on the computer within their sight. My yard is large AND HAS A FENCED ZONE ATTACHED TO THE HOUSE! My road is private and there is no traffic. I have a golden retriever who is very intuitive to other dog's special needs. He knows how to play gently, or not at all, with elderly, disabled, or small dogs. My small maltese is a couch potato that knows how to navigate around high energy and giant breeds. I can crate your pet if you desire. Located in a country setting just a few miles off the highway, midway between Kalamazoo/Portage - Grand Rapids/Byron Center and Holland/Allegan - Plainwell/Richland, -- and easily accessible by many neighboring cities and towns. Accepts last minute bookings and loves overnights and extended stays. Can accept multiple dogs and will accept only your dog(s), if you prefer, during your stay. I am home full time. Your schedule is followed to keep your pet comfortable. Pets are at ease with consistency and a calm environment where they enjoy play, cuddles, and lots of choices for comfortable naps. Pets are allowed on the furniture where cuddles are encouraged. Home is kept super clean and smoke free. Open concept home means your pet is always within sight and kept on the main level. A portion of the yard for pets is completely enclosed with a fence leading to an entry/exit of the home so that escape artists never have a chance. 😀

About: I’ve been a nanny before for 6 months, I’ve watched dogs for people on vacation. I really put my heart into it and care for animals and humans alike! I am active and love getting outside and playing with your pets or giving them special attention and love! I am pretty open and looking for it to be my full time job. I’d love to build relationships with my clients and prove that I’m a trustworthy and reliable animal watcher. I cuddle and pet my dogs, brush them every other day and bathe them around once a week, depending on how dirty they are. I typically walk them once a day and allow them to get some fresh air at the park and get fresh air!

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m currently looking into part time or less demanding full time jobs, and I’ll be actively looking until I land one, until then, I should be mostly free, and I’ll definitely keep my schedule updated as life moves forward and changes. As of now, I have appointments on Wednesday, I try to keep them consistent each week, but they’re subject to change due to scheduling. With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: I’ve been working with animals most of my life. I started dog sitting when I was 13 years old. Then I continued my love for animals by working as a kennel worker at a vet clinic, I then went to schooling to become a dog groomer, I did that for 5 years and then decided I wanted to do more and began school to get my vet tech degree, I currently am in school and work as a vet assistant at a clinic in south haven. I have a German shepherd currently. I currently work full time during the day but have a 2 hour lunch in the afternoon and have weekends off. I have plenty of time to care for your pups on my free time. I follow your instructions to a tee, I have no issue with whatever demands you have for the care of your family member, I prefer walking on leashes and I also prefer a meet and greet before agreeing to sitting.
