“Our 4 cats love Tasha! She is reliable and very easy to communicate with — she even came to meet the cats beforehand so that we would all feel comfortable. I would absolutely use her again. Tasha is also very courteous, cleaning up stray litter on the floors so that we would come home to a clean house.”

“Took good care of my cats and kept me up to date on how things were going. Really appreciated the daily pictures and adjusting visiting hours as needed. And thanks for going above and beyond with the vegetable tending and the gifts! Will not hesitate to call again. Thanks so much!”

About: My name is Veronica, and I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 13 years old. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from farm animals and everyday cats and dogs to even exotic pets. At home, I share my life with two cats, a dachshund, a turtle, and a bearded dragon. I also breed and show Golden Retrievers with my sister. When I’m not with animals, you’ll usually find me working on some kind of artsy craft project—with my cats snuggled up right beside me. I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for six years as a veterinary technician and have held a variety of animal-related jobs since I was 16. Because of that background, I’m comfortable helping with daily medications or fluids (as prescribed by your vet), as well as handling pets that just need a little extra love and attention. I’m also trained in basic first aid and prepared to respond in an emergency, with my own materials if needed. Whether your furry friend is a high-energy adventurer or a cozy couch potato, they’re welcome here—and I can’t wait to meet them! 🥰 I currently work from home, which means I’m pretty flexible with my schedule and can easily stop by your home for check-ins, walks, feedings, or just to give your furry (or scaly!) friends some extra love. ❤️ Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. With over six years of experience in veterinary medicine and a lifetime of hands-on animal care, I know how to handle medications, special needs, and emergencies with calm confidence. I strive to create a stress-free, loving environment where your pets feel safe, understood, and cared for—just like they’re part of my own family.
About: I took interest in caring for animals at a very early age (I grew up on a farm). I’ve had many pets of my own over the years and currently have two Golden Retrievers and one cat. I currently work full-time (Sunday-Thursday from 8am-4:30pm) but my work hours are flexible. I have a 30 minute commute and am available before and after work. I have a large fenced in yard with an 8 foot high fence. I also live in a neighborhood that’s tucked away where I’m able to provide walks from my front door.
About: Hey there! I’m Polly, a dog-loving former Veterinary Assistant and Animal Shelter Assistant! Right now I am a full-time dog mom to Luna (the sweet Beagle mix) and Tori (the adorable Shih Tzu queen). My dogs are my kids! With over 25 years of pet care experience, and years of house sitting for friends and family, I’ve recently teamed up with Rover to make sure your pets get VIP treatment while you’re away! I’ve got the know-how to handle playful adolescent “teenaged” dogs to senior snuggle experts, special needs pups, and even former puppy-mill survivors. Plus, my shelter assistant days taught me all about quirky breeds and furry personalities (cats included—because they rule too!). I am also very versed in special diets, medication administration, senior pets, pets with special needs, surgery aftercare, epileptic dogs, and knowing how to connect with all sorts of different types of pet personalities and needs. When you’re gone, I aim to spoil your pets with love, care, and plenty of snuggles—they’ll barely notice you’re gone! (I’m also willing to handle ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, lizards, birds and turtles, which I know are not options to choose here, but message me and we can chat about the smaller loves in your life!) I DO MEET AND GREETS! If time allows, I will try to meet you and your pets, in your home, beforehand. I have typically have some wiggle room as far as my schedule goes. Don’t be afraid to inquire about my calendar even if you don’t see the availability, I will accommodate you if it is at all possible! As far as house/dog sitting goes, please know that I also do drop-ins for Rover and occasionally, I will need to leave for 2-4 hours, if I have those bookings too. When I am pet sitting, I try to make myself available for your pet’s normal, daily routines, feeding times, snoozing, play time, snuggle time, whatever they require! I am a responsible and trustworthy, middle-aged gal with a ton of love and compassion for animals and I’d be giddy to love on yours as well!
