About: My name is Veronica, and I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 13 years old. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from farm animals and everyday cats and dogs to even exotic pets. At home, I share my life with two cats, a dachshund, a turtle, and a bearded dragon. I also breed and show Golden Retrievers with my sister. When I’m not with animals, you’ll usually find me working on some kind of artsy craft project—with my cats snuggled up right beside me. I’ve worked in veterinary medicine for six years as a veterinary technician and have held a variety of animal-related jobs since I was 16. I currently am currently working toward a nursing degree, I really enjoy making connections with others whether they are people or animals. If you allow me the opportunity, I will care for your dogs like they are my own. My schedule rotates MT-Sat and MTW. I am able to do drop ins on my lunch break. I will see them before and after work if dog sitting and during the work day on lunch. I will also spend time before and after work, not just a potty break. I currently only offer services to dog sit at your home, and walks/drop in visits. I am able to maintain safety according to your instructions.

Pets free roam my open concept living space while I work on the computer within their sight. We are able to take frequent breaks. My yard is large AND NOW HAS A COMPLETELY ENCLOSED, FENCED ZONE FOR PETS! My road is private and there is no traffic. I have a golden retriever who is very intuitive to other dog's special needs. He knows how to play gently, or not at all, with elderly, disabled, or small dogs. My small maltese is a couch potato that knows how to navigate around high energy and giant breeds. I can crate your pet if you desire. Located in a country setting just a few miles off the highway, midway between Kalamazoo/Portage and Grand Rapids/Byron Center, easily accessible by many neighboring cities and towns. Accepts last minute bookings and loves overnights and extended stays. Can accept multiple dogs and will accept only your dog(s), if you prefer, during your stay. Looking to be as accommodating as possible. I am home full time. Your schedule is followed to keep your pet comfortable. Pets are at ease with consistency and a calm environment where they enjoy play, cuddles, and lots of choices for comfortable naps. Pets are allowed on the furniture where cuddles are encouraged. Home is kept super clean and smoke free. Open concept home means your pet is always within sight and kept on the main level. A portion of the yard for pets is completely enclosed with a fence leading to an entry/exit of the home so that escape artists never have a chance. 😀

About: 5 acres of room to run. Smokey, born 1/22, and i love a good run, or fetch. We have a Large, 200 ft2, fenced and groomed for dogs. We cant wait to make friends and play. I feed my dog whole foods, cooked and raw. I can accommodate any dietary requirement you may have for your pet. I am able to deal with medical conditions as well. Your pet will stay in the house with us with out a crate or with a crate. Veterinary services are nearby and can be quickly accessed. Bad behaviors can be addressed as well as some basic lead training is offered. Smokey said she will help with that as well. We hope you have a fun filled day with your pet. Free pickup and dropoff! I'm retired and no longer board pets so I have time to attend your pal. All training is done at your house in your yard. I will come to you.
