“Jannatul took amazing care of our cats! She communicated all their updates with pictures and videos. We felt very happy and at peace with our kitties under her care! We will definitely book her again :)”

“Super happy with the care provided for my dog and cat during the drop-in visit. Both were well taken care of. I had a last minute trip and June was available to assist. I appreciated the updates and photos, and it gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“Tammy took great care of my birds while I was out for a while! I know Rover is generally used for cats/dogs, but she is definitely one of the few who will go above and beyond for the less common pets! Thank you so much for taking care of all the babies for me!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I share my home with three amazing best friends — two German Shepherds and a Labrador — and I love spending my free time outdoors with them. I spend a lot of my off-shift time hiking the beautiful trails around Loudoun, and for dogs who would enjoy joining me, I offer safe, supervised Hiking Outings. For my day job, I’m a firefighter with Loudoun County, which gives me a unique schedule with plenty of days off. That flexibility allows me to dedicate real time and attention to caring for other people’s pets. Before joining the fire service, I worked in Emergency Veterinary Medicine as a receptionist, where I saw firsthand how important it is to notice the little details in a pet’s health and behavior. That background taught me to spot potential red flags early and communicate clearly with owners if something ever seems off. Professional, reliable, and compassionate, I’ll treat your best friends like family — making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I work a 24-on/48-off schedule as a firefighter, which means I have plenty of full days off to fit in visits, walks, and even hiking outings. My schedule gives me the flexibility to spend real, quality time with your pets rather than rushing in and out. I’m also open to house sitting! Because of my shifts, we’d just need to plan coverage for the times I’m on duty. I have trusted contacts in the local pet care community, or I’m happy to coordinate with another sitter of your choice to make sure your pets always have consistent care. My primary focus is to treat your pet like he or she was my own. When your pet is under my care, you can rest assured that they will be loved, respected, and protected! I will provide an environment comfortable for your pet to be themselves and enjoy our time together, and maintain a safe and proper experience for them!
“She was able to take my dog for a walk on a very short notice. We’ve used her before and she’s very reliable, respectful and responsible. I’m sure my doggie is happy to see her. Highly recommended.”

“Aly is great and very trustworthy! Meet and greet went great and she took care of my cat very well during a trip I had to take. Went above and beyond to try and get through very inclement weather to give my cat some medication as well. Very responsive and provided great updates. Could always rely on her! Definitely booking again!”

“Mercedez was absolutely wonderful with our terrible trio of cats. She dealt easily with the medical needs of our senior cat, including giving fluids several times. She also managed to coax out Manny, who doesn't like change and spooks easily, and get him to not only be in the same room but actually let her pet him. Moe was his usual attention-seeking self and she kept him happy too. Mercedez was great with communication and providing pictures the entire time we were gone. I strongly recommend her as a pet sitter and will certainly ask her to watch the cats again.”

“Sydney was great! We booked last minute and were really relieved she was able to drop in on our kitties while we were away. She communicated well and made us feel like we didn’t have to worry. I realized I missed a few things in my instructions but she was able to roll with it and take care of everything. We really appreciated her help and would be happy to book with her again.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for multiple pets in a home setting. My mom has two dogs that I regularly help care for tasks including feeding, walking, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ve also pet sat for my sister’s dog, one of my mom’s dogs, and a friend’s dog all at the same time, so I’m comfortable managing multiple pets with different personalities and needs. This experience has helped me stay organized, patient, and attentive to each pet’s routine and behavior. In addition to dogs, I’ve cared for other pets such as a lizard and fish, so I’m comfortable with a variety of animals and their specific care needs. I’m also happy to help with small tasks like watering plants while clients are away. I understand how important it is to keep pets safe, happy, and on their normal schedule. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for.
