“Janay is the person to have when you are looking for a pet sitter. She took care of our 3 cats for 3 days when we were out of town. She exceeded our expectation in every aspect of what we could ask for as our cat sitter. She is friendly, honest, punctual, and communicative. Most of all she is being very nice to our cats. She treats our cats as if they are her own. When she started a drop-in service each day, she sent us numerous pictures of before and after service food/ water/ litter boxes situations. There were also pictures and videos of cats playing and having treats which let us know that the cats were doing fine. Receiving many visual aids put our mind at ease while being away from home. One of the cats has been urinating outside of litter boxes. Therefore we had to put some training pads underneath the boxes. She changed the pads every time the pads were dirty even though it was not addressed to her during our initial meeting. She did everything we asked with a smile on her face:) Overall she is very trustworthy. I would definitely hire her again without any hesitation. I would also recommend her to my friends if they are looking for a great pet sitter.”

“Akane was an amazing caregiver for Max. She stepped in when a sitter was unable to provide Max with her medication. I appreciated her responsiveness and professionalism.”

“We were so stressed with so many things going on that we forgot to get find someone for the cats. Sydney accepted our very last minute request even though she was busy. That says so much already! We love everything about her and she was so great with our two kitties! Would 💯 use her again!”

“Thank you Hayley for taking awesome care of Buddha and Abba! They were both so happy when we got home it was a huge stress reliever to have you come help us. We hope you will be available again in the future and until then take care!”

“Hayley was an excellent sitter for drop in visits. She thoroughly spoiled our senior dog with affection and treats, and was able to help with her eye drops and special hygiene needs. Hayley makes you feel reassured your pet is in good hands with many photos!”

“Ryan did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away for a week. Even though I only asked him to spend a little time with them each visit, he made sure to play with and have "cuddle time" with them so they didn't feel lonely. Also, he swept up after my cats got a little too messy, which I didn't ask for but I really appreciated! Thanks Ryan!”

“Allison is an absolute doll to have help out with our little doggies...she's kind, loving and always on time..I completely trust and appreciate all of her time she has spent with our pups!”

“Isabel is very responsible and very good at playing with cats. She sent me many photos including one with a high-jumping cat that I’ve never seen my cat do. My cats clearly enjoyed Isabel’s visits.”

“Lulu enjoyed her time with Shannon, and was happy and healthy upon my return. I really appreciated Shannon’s flexibility and willingness to step in and help me out when all of my typical resources were not available. Her communication was stellar even when she had some challenges with her cell phone. Thanks Shannon!”

“First time with Riley and she was absolutely great. Wonderfully detailed updates and super dependable. She took great care of my cats and even my place! I came back to a litter-free space and even my dishes done. On top of all that, my cats absolutely love her! (: Highly recommend.”

“Claudia did such a thorough job and sent so many updates!! Extremely impressed with her services and looking forward to continuing to utilize her services in the future for Miss Evie!!”

About: Aloha! I’m Nea, a born-and-raised Kaua‘i girl now living in Honolulu near Ala Moana. I’ve grown up around and owned animals my whole life—horses, chickens, bunnies, birds, cats, and of course, dogs—and I’m truly an all-around animal lover! I get so much joy out of spending time with animals and helping care for others’ furry friends. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a senior needing a little extra TLC, or a quirky dog with specific routines, I genuinely love getting to know each one’s unique personality. I’ve raised and owned Border Collies and Australian Shepherds (you can see my parents dog, Tucker, a blonde collie, featured in a number of my photos), so I’m especially comfortable with high-energy breeds. However, I’ve worked with dogs of all types and temperaments. I’ve been a dog walker and sitter throughout high school and college, and through Rover for several years while living in NYC and back on Kaua‘i—so in total, I’ve been doing this as a side gig for about 15 years now. I’ve cared for everything from a tiny Chihuahua named Lolo to a 180lb Great Dane named Pebbles to a reactive hound named George who only did night walks. No matter the service (walks, drop-ins, etc), I treat every pet I work with like part of my family and love making their day brighter (and yours a little easier). My husband and I lost our beloved dog Logan last year due to cancer and, while we aren’t quite ready to welcome another pup into our home full-time, we’ve both gotten so much fulfillment from helping out other pet parents. I work from home as an education policy consultant, and I’m very lucky that my job offers a lot of flexibility and autonomy in scheduling. My workday typically starts early since my team is based on the mainland, which means I often wrap up by lunchtime and have plenty of time to spend with pups. Even during working hours, I can usually shift meetings or build in breaks to fit in a walk or drop-in visit. Overall, I’m able to accommodate most pet care routines. Whether it’s a quick morning walk, a lunchtime drop-in, or a longer afternoon outing for an energetic pup, I’m happy to tailor care to whatever works best for your dog! Weekends are also often wide open, and I’m more than happy to take clients then as well. At the moment, I’m unable to offer overnights or boarding in my home, but I do provide walks, drop-in visits, and in-your-home sitting throughout Honolulu. When I’m caring for your pup—whether I’m stopping by for a quick visit or staying for longer—you can count on me to treat your space with the same respect and care I would my own. I make it a point to send regular, thorough updates and plenty of photos throughout my time with your pet. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your furry friend with someone else, and I want to ease that as much as possible for my clients by keeping you informed and connected every step of the way! I’m dependable, communicative, and focused on making sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease. I keep routines consistent, follow your instructions closely, and am always prepared to respond quickly if something unexpected comes up.

About: Hi! I am a designer working from home based in Honolulu, HI. I love love animals so much but I'm not able to have my own quite yet, so I'd love to help take care of yours! I have a lot of experience being around dogs, including my family pet Joy - a shy, tiny chihuahua terrier mix. In the future, I hope to have two birds, a hairless cat, and a dog :) Because I work from home as a freelancer, my work is very flexible / non urgent, which means I'll have plenty of time to take care of your baby. :) I'm currently residing in an apartment complex that is pet-friendly! It is also nearby a very quiet walkway that would be perfect for your pet to stroll / run around.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life—from my childhood red-nosed pitbull, to my cousin’s playful French bulldogs, to my family’s current chihuahua. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and I know how to tailor care based on each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who loves playtime or a senior dog who needs a gentle walk and a lot of love, I’m confident and compassionate in handling it all. My calm, observant nature helps pets feel safe, seen, and cared for. I’m currently waiting for medical school to start, so my schedule is wide open most days—perfect for giving your pets the time and attention they deserve! Once school begins, I’ll still be available for walks and care, just on a more limited schedule. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit both your needs and mine. When caring for pets in your home, I make it a priority to follow all instructions you provide—whether it’s feeding routines, medication, walk preferences, or house rules. I respect your space and your pet’s comfort, doing my best to keep their environment calm, safe, and familiar. I understand that trust is key, and I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I would my own.
