About: Life without a pet is like an unsharpened pencil. It has no point. While many sitters may have experience with basic pet care, I have specialized training in puppy training, senior care, and administering medication. My farm care, dog training, and animal shelter experience gave me these skills. These competencies along with my compassionate nature and attention to detail make me an exceptional caregiver for animals. I concentrate only on pet sitting and dog walking services. While I do include other things such as bringing in your mail, taking out your trash cans, alternating lights and blinds while you are away, my primary focus is your pet(s). However long your visit takes us, I will do the best I can to ensure your pet(s) have the attention and love they need, and everything that goes along with it. I work part-time remotely so I try to seamlessly integrate tasks like feeding, walking, playtime, and breaks throughout the day. This helps establish a sense of security and routine for pets, while also providing structure and breaks. I'm happy to send photos and provide daily updates as well as written activity logs. The backbone of pet sitting is dependability. Pet owners rely on sitters to keep appointments, dispense medicine as needed, and stick to special care instructions. About: I am a long time dog owner. I have worked with and trained my own dogs for many years, and have experience pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors in my teenage years. I have three dogs of my own: a golden retriever, his daughter, and a mutt I took in last year! I feel not only can I provide care of utmost diligence, but I also strive to ensure all fur babies get the attention they need! My work schedule is very sporadic, but my communication and commitment to your babies will never waiver. I am active duty military. I can work all weekends unless specified otherwise, as well as all evenings after 5:00pm. The latter of which will count primarily towards dog walking and other isolated services. I am also usually free around lunchtime from 11:00-1:00, if my services are needed between those hours. I am usually around during the weekends, and am more than willing to watch over your fur baby while you’re away! I am educated in the realm of pet insurance and health. While I cannot host your babies in my own home, I will always ensure the location in which I am operating is a safe environment for your pup or kitty!

About: I’ve been a dog owner for 12+ years. My first fur baby was a French Mastiff (2011) that passed away in 2020, and a shihtzu-Maltese that will be 13 this year! We also now have a 3 yo Cane Corso that we’ve had since pup and have spent many hours training since he was a puppy. Hi! I’m a stay at home mom with 2 children. One is currently in school and the other is home with me. I have the flexibility and time during the day/night to look after your fur babies while you’re away! Other than a few hours in the morning and in the afternoon for my kids school and practices, I’m able to drop in and check on the fur babies and give them potty breaks/feed them! My dogs have room to roam and play in our yard and we also go on walks! I can bring my dogs and yours to dog parks to play or socialize if your fur babies are ok with other dogs. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own.

“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! If you value peace of mind and knowing your dog is being taken care of the way you hope then you should look no further and book Kara to take care of your furry friend.”

I love animals and am committed to making sure your fur babies are well taken care of and getting the love and cuddles they deserve! I will be able to do daily walks, day to day sit ins, and weekly stays as well. I will also love to take them to the dog park or out back and play games. I prefer to care for pets in their home.
