About: I have taken care of animals (horses, chickens, cats, dogs, fish, alpacas, pigs, etc.) at multiple houses and farms. I was always the one people would turn to when it came to taking care of their household of animals when they were away. I am in the process of becoming a dog trainer as well as groomer! I've had experience with giving animals shots, pills and liquid medication as well as care after surgeries. Since I am self employed that gives me more open time to play, walk and care for the animals. Currently I own 2 cats and 2 dogs that live with me, I will need a few times a day to let them out a couple times a day. In my home I have a dedicated animal room that has beds, crates, a dog couch, lots of sunlight and a deck for the dogs to hang out on. I also have a pen that I can use if there are dogs or puppies that cannot hold their bladder and have frequent accidents. Blankets and toys galore for the dogs anytime they need them. There is a large yard for the dogs to roam around in or hiking areas for us to walk on. In your home I will make sure to take care of your lovely pet as I would with any of mine! Cuddles and snuggles as well as springs and tug-of-war, whatever activity the animals need to get their energy out as well as keeping them feeling safe and happy. The directions given to me from you will be taken to heart. Feeding, walking and sleeping schedules will be upheld to a T.

I am a detail oriented individual and, unless otherwise requested, I keep a detailed log of what I do when so that families know as much as possible about how their pets have spent their time. That hasn't happened often in past experiences with many services, so Caroline really made sure we were aligned with appointments for key checkpoints in our set-up and return processes. In addition to her diligence, her promptness was actually mind-boggling. My wife and I were away on vacation, and it was no less than perfect clockwork where I'd see her check-ins literally *on the dot* for the times in the mornings and late afternoons for her visits, dead on the hour: we're not talking 2, 3, 4 minutes late, but perfection nearly every single time, with maybe one starting a *minute after the agreed time? Being amenable to modifications and a couple of simple related tasks: Caroline was able to care for our "cat grass" and keep it thriving while we were gone, lavishing feedings to our cat when desired (most every visit); she also was able to follow our instructions by text message on how to use our "treat puzzle", since our cat was insistent on "playing it", and I know doing this gave a lot of comfort (and more treats) to our cat, and made my wife and I feel truly glad that Caroline was able to add this adjustment and make our cat feel like things were still as normal as they could be in our absence.
