About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was young including friends’ and my own. I had 2 dogs and 3 cats growing up. Once I graduated college, I adopted my own pup, Bagel! I currently work full-time, Monday through Friday, so I am available in the evenings. I am available most weekends as well to care for your furry friends! My friends and family rely on me to visit their cats and dogs at home, walk them, feed them, bathe them, play with them, and more! This includes several of my geriatric family pets who require more attention and medication administration.

About: I’ve lived with pets all my life and currently have one indoor cat (spayed, friendly) and one dog (spayed, spends most time outside). I’ve done dog sitting for up to two weeks in the past and cat sitting for up to one month both in my home and at pet owners’ homes. Though I prefer felines as they’re easier to manage, small/medium dogs are certainly welcome — as long as they’re not too vocal. I am a long distance runner and hiker, so no walking distance is too far for me! My arm strength does have a limit, so any dogs over 30 pounds who pull/aren’t fully leash trained are a no-go. Additionally, I’ve done pet sitting for guinea pigs and rabbits for 1-3 day periods! I work part time and do most work from home, so I’m continuously available all week. My home is right next to the W&OD trail, so walks are convenient all times of day and the trail is never crowded. I’m always happy to drive pets to the trail as well. My cat remains entirely indoors, but the dog has endless pits of energy and so spends lots of time outside. We have two fenced areas, one specifically for the dog and another for the pool, along with ~1 acre of unfenced yard.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I have cared for large dogs, such as Labs and Pit Bulls, as well as smaller breeds like Pomeranians, Pugs, and mixed breeds. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special dietary needs or medications. I am patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog's individual needs, and I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. “I couldn't be happier with Alexia & Jay - they are my go-to sitters now! I tried Rover once before; I selected a house sitter, and the person indicated she was staying, but I don't think she spent much time here; there was little sign of her living here and my cat was hysterical and needy when I returned. A young couple for house sitting is a good idea - they won't get lonely or bored by themselves. They were personable, responsible, and responsive, with good communication. They sent me lots of videos every day of my cat being content and entertained. My cat tends to be afraid of men, but she warmed right up to Jay, he was good with her. When I got home kitty greeted me as if I had only come home from the grocery store; she had been well taken care of. Alexia and Jay left the house clean and tidy. I offered to pay them extra for various chores around the house while they were sitting. They were happy to do them, and did a great job. I came home to a house better than how I'd left it. About: I graduated college with my Bachelors in Animal Studies with a Minor in Psychology. Through my college experience I have gotten to work with cats, dogs, reptiles, farm animals, and pocket pets! I have over 8+ years of experiences with pet care inside/outside of college as well. I always send daily updates of your pets and take the time to make sure your pet is happy while you are away. I keep my schedule on Rover up to date that way both clients and I can be connected on the same page! I'm available for walks in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings (depending on schedule). I am also able to dog pet boarding at my home or yours, which ever you are comfortable with! Even though I do not have a fenced in backyard, I leash walk all dogs to make sure they are safe and get plenty of exercise. My cat is also up to date on all their vaccines and are extremely friendly and will keep your pets company! If need be I can also crate your pet if you perfer! I make it a priority to have the safest area for your pets and have trust with the owners that your pets are in great care while you are gone or need help!
