About: I have a heart for animals and ensuring that they are well taken care of! Growing up, I had dogs at home that helped improve my care techniques and desire to continue working with animals. I am working part-time at the moment, but would love to care for animals outside of work! My schedule is flexible and I would be willing to adjust to the needs of pets and their owners! I absolutely loving caring for pets and would be so happy to give them undivided attention to play, rest, etc. Their needs will always be priority!
“Emily is so wonderful! She has been a life saver since we had our baby & I wish we had found her sooner. Jake and Frankie can hardly contain their excitement when they see her. Emily treats them as her own, and I feel so safe & comfortable when they are in her care. I would highly recommend Emily to anyone who needs a dog walker or sitter!”

“Therry was great with my dog Vinny!! He really seemed to love her and she was very reliable with sending me pictures and updates of him throughout. I will definitely be trusting Therry with Vinny in the future”

“Taylor has been very helpful. She has come and walked our very energetic dog on a weekly basis and I have had 0 difficulties getting ahold of her or getting feedback about how everything went. She is very sweet and a great choice for your pet!”

“Marlyn was great, per usual! Had gotten some surprise buckeye football tickets and needed a spur of the moment dog sitter for the day. Only one person came to mind in this panic and that was Marlyn. She has watched our sweet Stella before and did such a great job. So much so she didn’t want to come home haha. Marlyn sent pictures and kept us posted the entirety of the day which always puts us at ease. 11/10 ✊🏽”

About: I have had experience in dog sitting my friends’ dogs in the past. Now I want to do it more and give our dog more friends to play with also! Everybody wins! I can be available on weekdays in the afternoon , and weekends after 10 AM for dog sitting. I can walk dog every 2-4 hours. I have a large fenced in backyard with my friendly husky named Zangy and Maltipoo named Nimbus in the house. Lots of space for dogs to play and plenty of treats.
About: Lions, tigers, and bears may be a bit too big, but with dogs and cats I will play! Hi! Charlotte, here! I've had and loved animals all my life. I have taken care of cats and dogs and love spending time with those fuzzy creatures. The services I offer are dog and cat sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits to take care of your fur babies. I will change water, food, clean litter boxes, pick up after your pet, and give medication if needed! Have another animal not mentioned? I'll do my best to help with them too! Animals have always played an important role in my life so I will ensure you won't get anyone who values the love an animal gives you more than I. I look forward to hanging out with your best friend(s) and getting to know their human. I have a pretty flexible schedule! I’m available during weekdays and most weekends. Running over to check on your pet(s) or stay with them is no problem! Taking your dog on walks, playing with them(or your cat), ensuring they get plenty of activity and lots of love is always my top priority!
“Samantha is great! She took a last minute booking to walk our dog. My husband was out of town and I work long hours, and it was so nice to come home to a content and exercised dog. Her taking care of our dog was great peace of mind knowing she wouldn’t be home alone all day! ☺️”

“Rachel came and met me at my house for a walkthrough. She is very sweet with my dog. She was a trooper even when my pup had an accident. Thank you Rachel and Rover for peace of mind.”

About: I have experience pet sitting for neighbors and through a dog kennel. I love each and every animals I meet and will not leave until every need is met! I currently on summer break and have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I prefer to keep Sunday’s free. However, if your dog needs me I’ll be there! I currently have a gsp and take him on walks every morning. We have a large yard so he gets to go out and play often. When watching others pets I make sure to check on them at least three times a day. I tend to stay longer at night so they can wind down and get comfortable before I leave.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
