I had provided dry food and to try and get him to eat Anita went out and got wet food for him as well as gave him water with a syringe to make sure he was not dehydrated. I’m confident boarding him in a facility with a ton of dogs would have stressed him out more. Anita did a great job trying to make my nervous, quirky dog as comfortable as possible. About: For five years during grad school, I took care of friends pets (including cats, small dogs, and big dogs) for days and up to weeks while they were away. I have a full time job Monday-Friday, but I love animals! I can’t have a pet of my own at the moment, but I would love to take care of yours on the weekends or weekday evenings. My priority is to make your pet feel safe. I find keeping them in their home environment or maintaining their usual routine is often helpful. I am open to in house visits as well as bringing them into my home.
