About: I have owned and been around dogs and cats my whole life. I started out working with small animals when I volunteered at the Connecticut Audubon Society when I was a child and teenager. I also worked at PetSmart in the their Pet Hotel doing doggy daycare. While there, I walked, fed, cleaned up after, and watched over groups of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have also volunteered with Protectors of Animals at their cat shelter for about 2 years now. I have worked with cats of all ages and temperaments. My schedule is very open at the moment. I am able to check up on animals multiple times throughout a weekday and am also available on weekends. I am available to take care of pets in your home, whether you just need me to feed them and let them out a few times a day, or if your pet needs someone to stay with them for longer periods of time. In previous experiences, I have cleaned litter boxes, administered medications, taken long walks (I'm an avid runner and can even take your dog for a run if they like it!), fed both wet and dry food, and dealt with anxious pets. I am a fairly free agent during breaks from college and can schedule my day around when your pet needs a walk or food! I can come as early as 7am and as late as 9pm! I am very respectful when it comes to coming over and caring for your pets. I have a fenced in back yard, as well as a medium sized crate for crating if needed. I currently don't have any pets of my own, but plenty of toys an activities for a fun doggy day! I also live close by a few parks and dog parks that can provide a nice field trip.
