“Seriously so sweet and patient with me as I have never hired a pet sitter before! Very professional and sent me pictures of my baby while she was there. :) Would absolutely hire again!”

“Madison has taken care of my cat a few times now, and gets along great with her, which is especially impressive since my cat isn't always the friendliest to people who aren't me. She takes gorgeous pictures and gives lots of care and attention to her!”

About: Ever since I was 9, I have taken care of dogs and cats from ranches to homes, and from walks to simple home care visits. I and currently PRN and going to school during the week days, with the PRN my availability may vary but more than likely I am available. My classes are only in the mornings with only one being in the afternoon, which gives me plenty of time with your furry babies. I am a great problem solver and will always work in the best interest of your pet. If I am unsure about anything that can possibly hinder your pet's safety I will always ask you. I want your babies safe and you stress and worry free.

“Jeannie did a wonderful job dropping in to let our dogs out while I was on a business trip! My dogs are very shy and by the third stop over they warmed up to her. I will definitely book with Jeannie for all my future pet sitting needs. Thank you!”

“Victoria was very attentive to all of Peaches’ needs, even though Peaches never showed her mouthy, fuzzy face. My home was very respected and was as if we hadn’t been gone. Victoria went above and beyond by even bringing in our mail and packages. The comfort level and communication was stellar.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for my own pets, I have a dog and 4 cats as well as 4 equine friends at home. I have always been there for my friends and family when they need someone to look after their pets whether its for a drop in visit or someone to take care of them while they are away for longer periods of time. I work part time and I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule as well as reliable transportation. I'll make sure that any scheduling conflicts are accounted for before accepting a client. I will always care for your pets as if they were my own, and carefully follow any special instructs. I know very well that every pet is different, and thrives with the right kind of attention.

“Paige did an outstanding job taking care of Sam and Patch. I have developed a trust in her understanding in the care of animals. I enjoyed the daily pictures, comments on their daily experiences and felt confident that my pets were being cared for just like I would care for them as they are my family.”

About: I have owned and pet-sat for dogs and cats for over 20 years, so since I was a kid. I have sat for and owned with pets who have behavioral issues, medical needs, and just dealing with their weird quirks. I have medical knowledge under my belt, so any health issues or concerns is just another day for me! I work M-F 7:30am-5pm at the hospital. I can do early drop ins for feedings, medicine administrations, quick morning walks. I can also drop-in after work and into the night for any tasks. I can do longer walks in afternoon-evenings after work. Weekends are any time. I feed my pets twice daily. I make sure they are let outside at least every couple hours when home. I used to have to crate my senior dogs when they were around due to separation anxiety and incontinence issues. I am familiar with medications and different administrations routes, as I have done anything from topical to injections to my own and other's pets. I have a fenced-in yard, so my current dogs are let loser to tun. When living in apartment I have walked with my dogs numerous times a day, rain snow or shine.

About: I managed a pet store for 7 years. Handling dogs helping a groomer. I checked them in for appointments and checked them out for pick ups. Depends on what is needed. I work part time. I also work around my bookings. I’m very flexible. When I dog sit I make it all about the dog and treat them as if they are children. I prefer your home. I care for them by whatever directions or schedule you prefer if there on a routine or not. I love your dogs as if they were mine.

About: I’ve been around and taken care of animals since I was 8 years old! I grew up with as many as 4 dogs and 5 cats at once! I’m a preschool teacher looking to have a fun side gig; taking care of your pet would make my week so much more fun. Hope to hear from you soon! I have 3 cats in my apartment currently and they are all my little babies! They will sometimes get to go out on balcony with supervision and one of our cats likes to go outside for walks!

About: My husband, two daughters ages 6 and 8, and myself have been the designated “pet-sitting” family for friends, neighbors and family for the past 10 years. We’ve taken care of puppies, dogs, cats, kittens, bunnies, chickens, ducks, etc. all like they were our own. We love animals and our children know animal safety (don’t corner animals, ask before petting, put your hand out, don’t scare with sudden movements/yelling). We’ve owned a beautiful golden retriever who passed away from old age almost two years ago now and love to pet-sit and walk dogs to get our “dog-fix”. We own the white cat in the picture, she isn’t a huge fan of dogs but is very much used to them, even the ones who desperately want to play with her! I saw that there was a need for pet-boarding in our specific area and thought we might be able to help fill that gap. Our specialty is in-home care but we can certainly provide walks or come to your home to let animals out/provide care. Both my husband and I have fairly flexible schedules and can provide frequent check-ins and potty breaks with the max alone time being 4-6 hours during the work day. We are comfortable with providing care to older and/or sick animals. Our own golden had arthritis and needed to be picked up to get up the last year (and he weighed 85lbs!). We would love to spoil, play with and love on your pet! My husband works flexible hours and works from home part of the day and I work an 8-4 job during the school year. I am home full time during school breaks, as I work in the schools. We frequently travel ourselves, so of course will be unavailable during those times. We have a fenced in yard that works great for the dogs we’ve sat in the past. My husband is an avid runner and if your pup has extra energy is always willing to take a dog with him on his runs. We live in a wonderful and walkable subdivision that is great for walking dogs. We keep a clean home with no smoking. We make sure that our pets are let outside plenty during the day, get playtime, cuddles, fed and watered and then if they want, they can even climb in bed at night with us or our daughters.

“Nannette did a great job with my cats! They are very shy but were comfortable with her and came out each time she visited. She was consistent in her visits and sent great pics so I knew all was well. Thank you!”

About: I am a Registered Nurse. I am finding a lot of free time on my hands and would love to give your pet(s) extra attention throughout the day. I have one dog of my own, she is a GSP and her name is Frankie. I usually only work three days/week. Other than that, I'm usually hanging out with my dog! Safety is my number one priority. Unless the yard is fenced, I will have the dog(s) on a leash. If a dog is crated, their collar will come off once in the crate. I will always be supervising play time. I have one very energetic dog, she usually wakes me up. We immediately go outside to go potty then we eat breakfast! She usually follows me wherever I go. She’s my best friend. Safety is my number one priority. Collars come off in the crate. Always leashed outside. Nothing dangerous is left lying around the house. At least 30 minutes of chill time after eating. Etc.

Adamsville cat parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was very sweet and responsive. Lola went up to her right away and seemed to like her. Only reason I didn't give her a full 5 stars was that she did forget to refill Lola's water bowls the first time she went over, but it was her first time watching Lola and she did go right back over when I made her aware. The second day she went over, she did everything perfectly.
