We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions. Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. About: I’ve taken care of various family/friends pets since I was a young girl, and have worked with animals for a few years in a mobile dog grooming truck. I’ve loved animals since I can remember, and have always had some sort of pet! My daily/weekly routine is currently pretty flexible, so I’ve got some spare time to help watch your babies while you’re away, take them out for walks/potty breaks, or whatever you may need help with! I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.

I’m currently working part-time teaching dance to the youth between 4-9pm. This leaves my whole morning/afternoon open. I currently work 5 days a week, but my hours vary and can work around whatever you may need! For at stays at my house, my husband is usually home when I am not! I have a fenced yard and plenty of open space inside as well. All of my animals have been socialized their whole lives and love meeting new friends!
About: Hi! My name is Aubrey and i’m a freshman at IU with reliable transportation! I was raised on a farm and we bred dogs, so I have years of experience with dogs and cats of all kinds! I have experience with small and little dogs, energetic and lazy, as well as cats! I am usually pretty available as my work and school schedule are both somewhat flexible. My schedule is pretty flexible! I’m a student with not many in-person classes, so anything from dog-walking to pet sitting usually fits into my schedule! I am comfortable watching/taking care of pets in your home, whether it be overnight, multiple nights, or just throughout the day! I’m open to everything!

I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
About: I have had animals, bug and small my whole life. ranging from chickens, cats, and dogs all sizes. I love animals and my family even owns a non profit in Colorado that matches shelter pets with Veterans in need! I work a part time job and work short shifts. Outside of work, I like to be active so dog sitting is an opportunity to help me have more to do while I am not in school! I will make sure your dog has a lot of play time and exercise! Plenty of potty breaks will be given. Making sure they get enough food and water. If a mess is made by your pet in your home, I will communicate what happened and clean it up!
