Pet Sitting Accident

About: I have house-sat and cared for both dogs and cats, as well growing up and having animals living with me almost my whole life (both my own and roomate’s pets). I have had to administer medicine to both dogs and cats in the past while taking care of them, and am comfortable with doing so. Drop-In Visits: Weekdays, I can typically provide these in the very early morning (630am) and evening (after 5pm). Weekends I will usually have more flexibility. House Sitting: I typically work full time during the week (Monday-Friday), so I am gone 10-11 hours total (up to 45 minute commute each way, and then an 9 hour shift). When you request a booking, I will make sure to give you more specific details on what my schedule looks like during your dates if it varies from my normal availability. I will treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would treat my own! I know pets are like family, and I want you to know they are in good hands!

I joined Rover because I miss having my dog in my everyday life. He is currently staying with my parents back home in north-central Kansas. My dad’s health isn’t the best, and my dog brings him a great deal of comfort, so I know he is where he needs to be for now. I return home about once a month to visit them. I can often accommodate short-notice requests and easily work around your pet’s regular feeding, playtime, and care routine. I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, where they can feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in familiar surroundings. I will follow each pet’s normal routine, carefully secure doors and gates, respect the client’s home, and provide regular updates and photos. I have a friendly cat at home who gets along well with dogs but prefers not to be around other cats. Because of that, I would care for cats in their own homes but may welcome dogs into mine after a meet-and-greet. I’m flexible and always willing to discuss the safest arrangement for each pet.

About: My family always had dogs growing up, so I've been around them my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I've had them both since they were puppies. Brodee (a small lapdog) is now a spry 13 year old. Watson (a big moose) is now a very good 5 year old boy. Between the two of them, I've handled everything from puppy zoomies to senior-dog routines, so I'm comfortable with dogs of any size, age, or energy level. ——— I went through obedient training with Watson. This strengthened my understanding of how direct interactions can shape relationships with dogs. Our bond is really strong. ——— I regularly care for friend's dogs when they're out of town. Including feeding, freshwater, playtime, walks, and yes, cleanung up any messes without a second thought. Your dog's routine stays their routine while you're away. ——— Fair warning; I'm the person who asks "can I pet your dog?" to every single dog I see, then I end up lying on the ground letting them climb all over me. Your dog will get genuine, enthusiastic attention here, not just a bowl refill and a bathroom break. For weekdays, I am mostly available right in the morning and the later evening. I could make midday work with more planning. Weekends are pretty open. Feeding & Water I follow your dogs existing schedule and portions. I know how important it is to keep the dog's water available and their food reliable. They have amazing sense of time and they want their food when they expect it. --- Medication My senior dog as to take medication twice daily, so I am very familiar with how important timing of medication is. --- Exercise & Playtime Depending on the need of service, I may be the only contact your dog has for the day, so I want to make that time as enjoyable and exciting as possible for them. I get down on the floor with them and play. Tug, fetch, belly rubs, whatever your dog is into. --- Clean-Up Accidents happen! I handle messes promptly so they don't get any worse. --- Communication I can provide updates and photos as requested so you can have the piece of mind knowing that your little ones are being cared for while you are away.

About: I own dogs, cats, and horses of my own. I've helped over 200 fosters or rescues in our home, many of which had medical issues. I've dealt with most problems that could come up with sitting! I also use Rover for my own pets, so I try to do everything that I would want a sitter to do for me! About: I’ve grown up alongside dogs and other animals and helped take care of them since I was young. When I was sixteen, my family adopted our puppy Sal at eight weeks old, and it was my responsibility to take care of him, train him, and love on him. From there, I volunteered at Almost Home animal shelter in Van Buren for two years, where I walked dogs of all sizes and weights, played with them, fed and cared for them, and cleaned out their kennels and bowls. As of now, I’m living away from my family dog since I’m in college, but I’m helping a friend of mine walk and train her newly adopted Cane Corso (she’s a sweetie). I’ve watched dogs for friends and family all through the years, as well. As far as cats go, I’ve loved them since I was a kid, and I adopted one two years ago! His name is Walter, he’s a tabby and the sweetest boy alive, and I love taking care of him, even if he shreds my arms sometimes. Pets need love and patience, and that’s exactly what I have for them. :) I’m currently in college, so while I have a couple of busy days (Mon., Tue., Thur.,) the rest of my week is very free! And I always have plenty of time for sitting. I can easily adapt to your pet’s regular schedule, including mealtimes, bedtime, medication, if they need to be crated, playtimes, etc. The comfort and happiness of your pet is my first focus.
