Dave did such an amazing job! I was blown away by his knowledge in caring for dogs and also his thoroughness! I loved reading his profile before coming. I contacted Dave last minute Today, and he came & did amazing! I would recommend Dave to any other clients! Bella is a new pup to me, and he did amazing with her! They went on a long walk, he gave her food & water and took some pictures. Excited that Bella had a good day and that Dave came today!

Linda came to give Zoey her 2nd bath today. Zoey was so happy to see her (I was too)! Linda goes above anything I’ve seen. She keeps the hair out of her ears and eyes and trims her nails. Linda is always on time and dependable, so sweet with our family and friends who may be here, we can’t wait till she comes next week. The best $35 I spend! Thanks Linda!!!

About: Ever since I was I kid, I have had a dog or cat, and I have grown up loving them!! I will take care of your pet like it was my own and make sure it is played with and loved! I can go on energizing walks with your dog. If your dog is more chill, that works for me, too. I love playing with dogs, so if you have an energetic pup that likes to play, I'm willing to spend time doing that. I'll always work to ensure that your dog is safe with me. If we are on a walk, a leash will be used, we will be cautious of other dogs and people. I have experience administering medicine and caring for senior dogs. I am a teacher so I can check in on pets in the evenings and on weekends. I have more availability during the summer. I am willing to travel if necessary to care for your pet! I will come to your home for drop in visits. During that time, I will make sure your pet has food and water. I will play with your pet and give it some love and attention.

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs my entire life and am comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and providing a safe, loving environment. I treat every dog like family and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. 🐾❤️ As a teacher on summer break, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship, ensuring pets receive consistent care and supervision. Since I have more free time during breaks, I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine and provide the attention they deserve while you’re away. Pets in my care are treated like part of the family. I have a friendly pug at home and a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and get exercise. Pets have access to a comfortable indoor environment and receive plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and affection throughout the day.

About: Hey everyone! I've been helping take care of dogs and cats since I was young. I love animals and I have a special bond with them; especially cats. Don't get me wrong I love dogs too! Lol. I have 3 cats of my own. If given the opportunity, I would treat your fur babies like they were mine and do the best job possible. Hope to hear from you soon! I do have a full time job but I am committed to taking on more work as much as I'm allowed. I have 3 cats that I care for daily. I would carefully read over any care instructions that were left for me and properly ensure that the animal was cared for. I would also make sure to give them love and attention.

About: As a lifelong dog and cat owner who loves to travel, I know how important it is to know you’ve left your pets in good hands while you’re away. I work full-time but remotely, so it’s easy for me to stop by and check on/feed pets or stay overnight with them if need be. I can’t host others’ pets in my homd, but I can easily and safely take care of pets at your house by keeping the home clean, communicating effectively and providing frequent updates on your furry friends. I always appreciate getting photos and messages about my pets’ care while I’m gone, and will be happy to do the same for you.

About: I have my own pups and a cat. I am an absolute animal lover and get excited to meet and care for new fur babies. Short walks or long walks I don't mind. Baby pups to older pups I love them all. Cats are a bonus too. Just give me a call day or night and I can ensure you will be very pleased with me caring and loving your fur babies. 💕 my family and friends have depended on my to care and love their pets while they were away and they were always so happy to see the pictures of their pet playing and eating, drinking, and going for walks. 😊 I work at a hospital Sundays but I'm available all other 6 days of the week. I'm home during the week and would love to have some fur babies to play with and love on. My kiddos and I are animal lovers and just want to be there for any of them if we can. I have a fenced in back yard to run and play. I have a trail in front of my house that I can take them on walks as well. Day or night I can care for your babies. 😊 it's always my pleasure to be able to help in any kind of way.

About: Ive had dogs since I was a child and they’ve always been a key part of my life. I’ve dog sat for plenty of neighbors, friends, and clients through rover. My dogs are not just a pet but truly part of my family and most of my schedule revolves around them. I work 100% remote/from home so pet sitting fits perfectly with my schedule. I can let dogs out as often as they’d like and easily schedule walks, runs at the park, etc during my day. They will never be left alone for an extended period of time. Any pets cared for at my house will have access to my large backyard and a park right up the street to run around or go on walks. I can kennel dogs when gone or at night if needed to make them feel at home. Also all pets are welcome on furniture in my house so cuddles are always available!

  • 100% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
