“Once again we were able to leave our Zippy in the care of Mildred while we were gone for 5 days. At the beginning of our trip Mildred had trouble finding Zippy and did an extra check-in to try to find him (she was successful!) it turned out that one of the fire alarms was beeping for a battery change and he was petrified so Mildred changed the batteries and spent extra time coaxing our boy out of the closet. She is amazing- I cannot recommend her enough!”

About: I am currently in my undergrad on the pre-vet track, but when I am not studying I have worked as a vet assistant for 4 years, volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center for 3 months, and taken care of family members pets. I have also been surrounded by my own pets my whole life and been involved in their care. I am currently a full time student, but I am available most afternoons and mornings! My schedule is pretty set for each week, but there is room for flexibility! I have had many experiences with nervous dogs at the animal hospital and know how to calm them down and make them comfortable if necessary. I have also dealt with some aggression in dogs, and am very aware of my actions.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats all through high school and I have worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal and exotics clinic for the past 2 years. I have cared for senior and special needs dogs before and I have worked with all ages of animals. I'm currently finishing up my undergraduate degree and work part-time at a veterinary hospital. I am available during the weekends and have some free time every day of the week. I make sure I see the pet every time I come over (for nervous/scared cats). I make sure pets are bored or lonely and make sure they are very well cared for and make sure that they have everything they need. I leave the home as clean as it was before.

About: I am a recent UVM grad with degrees in Animal Science and Wildlife Biology. I have worked at dairy farms, small animal hospitals, and volunteered at my local shelter. I have 2 furbabies of my own as well as a leopard gecko (I love exotic animals!). I have been pet sitting for friends and coworkers for 5 years now. I usually do weekend sitting, but am open to doing check-ins, potty breaks, and walks. I am experienced with cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, sheep, cattle, and exotics (reptiles, rabits, hamsters, ect.) I am hoping to go to vet school in the future! I currently work a 9-5 job, if I am working remotely I can come do potty beaks and check-ins whenever needed. I provide sitting Friday evenings - Sunday evenings. I am open to walking, doing check-ins, and sitting on the weekends. I currently do not do sitting in my home since I am renting.

When it came to the drop-ins, she was engaging and played with my cat to the same invested extent that I do, even getting down on hands and knees to wrestle him around the living room. I will literally never hire another cat sitter so long as Lia is available, and even then, I might reschedule my vacations around her!”
