About: Im currently a student at Tech as a pre-vet student, I do currently own 3 dogs and 4 horses back home. I’ve also worked at many different vet clinics for a couple of years, as well as volunteer at animal shelters. I love spending quality time with animals and making sure they are happy and healthy! I’m currently attending Texas Tech, so when I’m not in class I love spending plenty of time to walking, caring, getting to know, and playing with your pets. I’m a big out door person! Because I am in college i would like to make my money on the side. That being said I am available weekly just depends on what time I’m needed. At my home we feed twice a day (morning & night), we have a big fenced in backyard reserved just for dogs to run and play and once inside they can enjoy the good life of sleeping on the couch or the doggy beds. If the dog is very active, then we will enjoy our run or walk down to the parks! Because I have experience working as a veterinarian technician I’m also able to care for senior dogs and dogs that require special needs. I’m also very patient with rescues due to working with a lot of them in the animal shelter!

She made sure they were fed and taken care of perfectly and we miss her dearly.”
16. Xan N.

18. Laura J.
“Laura is very responsible kindhearted and trustworthy. I would have no problem, leaving any pet in her care from what I’ve seen. Laura absolutely adores any dog that she has come in contact with Ann as I was looking for ways to help people out,”
19. Cole M.
About: I grew up with large to very large dogs, including labs, akitas, pit bulls, and great danes! I have been informally watching my friends and co-workers pups for several years and this year I rescued a german shepherd mix who is now 10 months old and exploding with energy. We love our puzzle feeders, walks, and visits to the dog park. I also have a chunky and temperamental cat, so I'm used to managing multiple big personalities with pets and feeding separately if needed. I have watched dogs with dietary needs and administered oral medication and medication for skin conditions. Since I grew up on a small farm, I'm also experienced with taking care of chickens and have some experience with horses! I'm a graduate student and my schedule is flexible right now. I work from home and at coffee shops for 70% of the work week so my schedule is fairly flexible. I have time to stop in and check on your pets in the morning, middle of the day, and evening. If I have enough notice, I can generally make time for most drop-ins. Because I have pets with strict feeding scheduling, I understand how important it is to have someone check in pets on time. I am watchful of our surroundings and avoid walking close to other dogs when I am not sure of their temperament. For my dog, she wears a harness whenever we go out and I never let her off leash unless we are in a secured, fenced in area. I also supervise my dog when she is outside in fenced in areas to make sure she does not get out somehow. My dog is crated at night and when no one is home. When she is crated, I usually take her bones away and give her a chew toy so she does not accidentally choke on a bone. She also has allergies to specific ingredients in foods, so I am mindful of the ingredients in the treats and food she eats. For cats, I always make sure doors are closed and places are secure so they cannot get out. Since my cat gets sick when she is extra stressed, I'd be happy to take a broad look through the house to make sure they did not get sick. If you provide me with cleaning supplies, I'm happy to clean up accidents! If I notice a pet is having tummy issues or any health issues, I will contact you immediately with details about what is going on!
