It was hard for us to leave your 4-legged baby and I know it would be hard for our pup too. Megan put us at ease with her detailed progress reports during each visit. Megan’s knowledge, flexibility, compassion, and patience is incredible. By day 3, Finley was jumping around and excited to see Megan. We are very fortunate to have Megan help us with Finely Magee!”

About: I have prior experience in pet care and can't stay away! I have worked with elderly pets and pets that need medications including injections. I love working with senior pets. For example, my own corgi dealt with a disk injury and he has gone from needing a wheelchair to walking unassisted after laser and hydrotherapy. I am currently not working outside of Rover which keeps my schedule flexible. I have infusion appointments for treatment but am able to schedule them around you and your pet's needs. I also do not charge for same day cancelations or modifications because I know life is unpredictable. When I come to your home I will treat it as if it were my own. If the you are gone multiple days I will bring in your mail, put trash at the curb, etc. Some clients even have me rotate lights turned on while gone. My goal is for your house to be how it was when you left including washing food/water bowls.

About: I have a love for dogs since as far as I can remember and I've not met a dog that didn't like me yet. Growing up we always had a family dog and anytime someone needed help with their pet I would always volunteer. I have a 4 year old black Labrador who is the center of attention in our house hold. My husband is a dog trainer and I help with feeding and letting the dogs out for restroom breaks when needed. Having a pet makes for a happy home if you ask me. I work part time as a Realtor and I can make my schedule around yours. If I need to make arrangements I will do so. I have a fenced back yard and 2 fur babies that can keep your dog company. I also have 4 kennels and plenty of toys, treats.

“To say Kathryn is the perfect person to work with/care for animals would be spot on. She’s probably had more exposure to all kinds of animals than the typical person has. She’s had pet rats, Guinea pigs, chickens, cats and dogs with the occasional reptile and wild animal that has wandered upon her in need of rehabilitation or stray dogs running from everyone but walking right up to her. She has a way with animals that they feel safe in her presence. She dotes on all the animals she cares for and it’s amazing to see how they interact with her in return. Kathryn would be fantastic for Rover to have on their team, so I would highly recommend her for the job.”

About: I've had my own dogs and a horse since I was little that l've always been in charge of. On top of that, l've always been a go to for friends, family, and neighbors. Plus, I have spent time volunteering with friends of Rowlett animal shelter! Whether it be bathing, walks, indoor playtime, or quiet time inside, l'm happy to accommodate any dog's needs. Dog sitting your furry best friend is just as fun for me as it will be for them! I have an flexible schedule that allows me to easily work around a pet's schedule to keep them the most comfortable while their owner is gone. I can either keep to the same schedule your pup is usually used to, or we can amp up the play time so it feels like vacation to them too! Just let me know if your dog prefers to be active and play, or chill out and relax.
