Smokey can be very nervous and anxious in new situations, and he initially refused to eat, but Alexus was patient, caring, and determined to help him feel comfortable. She showed him so much love and attention, and before long he was settling in and doing much better. One of the things I appreciated most was the daily updates, photos, and videos she sent. They gave me tremendous peace of mind and reassured me that Smokey was safe, happy, and receiving excellent care. It was clear from every update that she genuinely cared about his well-being. Honestly, Smokey had a better experience with Alexus than he has ever had at a traditional boarding facility. In fact, when we came home, his greeting was surprisingly underwhelming because he had been having such a great time! About: I am a proud parent of a (king shepherd) named Anubis. I have recently lost my Lacey at her young age of 14 due to cancer. When a friend told me about this adorable puppy she was looking to find a home for who was abused and abandoned by the breeders due to him having flaws, I immediately knew I wanted him when she told me that. My friend showed up to my door with a puppy he was 8 months old and about 110lbs! He is now 150lbs and the happiest pup ever. I am able to choose what shift I want to take at my job therefore I am able to spend my days helping people with their fur babies as much as possible. I have a decent sized back yard, plus I will be home with the fur babies to play with them and walk and feed them.
