5. Yinxiao & Zitao L.
“I know she and her husband are both professional in pets! I’ve seen one of her cats back in Saskatoon when we were students there, there was a very energetic cat that live in the dream. She is very caring, patient, loving with pets because of she was a kind YMCA kindergarten teacher. She will treat pets as children for sure.”

7. Ebony C.
“Ebony is a responsible, calm, experienced person for a position with Rover. Ebony has clearly proven her competency with both cats and dogs as evidenced with her volunteer position with the Richmond Cat Sanctuary, and her multiple long term care commitments with college friends’ dog care. In both of these positions Ebony’s skill set included: cleaning and maintaining of a section of a community cat sanctuary independently, training, feeding, and grooming of various large breed dogs. Ebony has proven to be respectful, integral, and a good communicator whose steady personality is an assest to those she interacts with and works for.”
8. Lai S.
“Sara is always a cheerful and passionate person on everything, especially for dogs. She has recently one Pomeranian namely Bigbig, aged 5mo. Sara is also working in a NGO namely BigSister and continuously spreading her positive energy and love to people in need. Whenever her colleague or friends have problem on taking care of their own pets, Sara Will step out and welcome them to her room as pet sitter without any hesitation. Even though she is lacking in experience on taking care of pet in public organization/events, I believe that everything has a start. Glad that she chose Rovers as her first step on this journey and I do hope that Rovers will consider her application.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since 2017 as my neighbour always asked me to babysit when they went on vacation! I love being around them and playing, it’s so much fun! I am currently not working and in full time school. All of my classes are online and I am very flexible with time. I love to go on walks for exercise and with a dog, it’s even better! I have a fenced yard in a townhome and a lovely neighbourhood where there are many other dogs around to interact with. I have a safe path to walk that is filled with nature.

She was a huge support system for me when I lost my last dog, and actually knit me a bandana for my new puppy! She actually convinced me to sign up for Rover, so I’ve been dogsitting for over a year and a half now and I love it. Your dog will be in great hands with Calli.”

“Max loves his walks everyday with Michelle, she always let's me know what's going on with my furbaby. He's getting a little older now and I'm glad we have Michelle to rely on. 18. Natasha O.
“I couldn't think of a better person to recommend than Natasha for looking after, caring for or walking any animal, especially dogs! She is a true to heart dog lover, as much as anyone I've ever met. Let's just say that if there was only one sandwich in the world left, and it was between any dog and Natasha, the dog would have a good meal. She it trustworthy, kind and gentle. She would make an excellent pet caregiver.”

About: I’ve been a senior handler at a doggy daycare for 2 years now. I have been relied on to manage play between pups, clean up after them, groom them and have lots of fun with them! I’m currently working at a doggy daycare which allows me to have ample room to fit your pet into my daily routine! They would get tons of cuddles and excercise! I have a large fenced in yard and everything is dog safe as I have a couple pups of my own! They are all dog friendly and often come to work at the daycare so they are well versed in meeting all kinds of pups!
20. Cody S.
About: I have been caring for dogs, cats, rodents, and reptiles all my life. I have experience with seniors, training, and administering of medication, as well as plenty of experience with reactive dogs. I received reactivity training working with a doggy halfway house, providing training to rescues with behavioural problems keeping them from being adopted out. I also lived with a roommate who had a rescue who was reactive to other dogs and interaction from strangers. That would be the goofy goober in my profile picture. Rescued from a violent life, she has received a mountain of training to improve her quality of life, but still needs a strong, alert handler she can trust to lead her. She has an emotional support cat to help calm her anxiety. My dog walking clients have ranged from seniors and lapdogs to working breeds and pups. I've got you covered, whatever you need. I am settling in to my new home in Ladner, and find myself with more time in my schedule. Finding new dog-walking clients would be an excellent way to get to know the community. When pets are separated from their owners, it is important to have them immersed in their daily routine in your absence. In my role as their carer, I understand that it is important to limit the stress that separation can cause to your pets and give them the extra attention they will be needing while you are away.
