As a nursing student at Appalachian State University and a part-time CNA in Boone, I’ve learned to balance a busy schedule with reliability and compassion—both of which I bring to pet care. I'm typically available in the afternoons and evenings on days when I'm not working at the hospital. Pet sitting fits perfectly into my routine, and spending time with animals is actually one of my favorite ways to unwind! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I stick closely to your pet’s schedule for walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime—just like you would. Whether it’s a short sitting session or a quick walk, I make sure they feel secure and loved. I’m respectful of your home, always clean up after the pets, and give them plenty of attention, whether it’s tossing a toy, a belly rub, or just keeping them company.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a few years now. I understand your dogs are your babies so taking care of them and modifying to their needs is one of my biggest priorities! I have a lot of free time to take care of your fur babies! The summer weather is perfect for walks! My schedule is very flexible, I would love to plan some meet & greets in order to meet you and your animals! In my home, your dogs would be like a part of my everyday routine. I would prefer to care for them in their own environment of course!

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. Although I do not offer boarding, I will make absolutely certain your animals stay safe in my care!

About: I grew up in Wyoming where I was a member of 4-H for ten years. I raised pigs and rabbits for show and also grew up with two cats and a corgi at home. I have experience giving medication to each of these animals and even some experience giving injections. My husband, Orlando, and I love animals and work most of our Rover appointments together. At home we have two cats and a hedgehog! I’m pretty flexible and almost always have time in the mornings and in the evenings after 4 to stop by and check on/walk/play with pets. I am happy to housesit during the week or on weekends. While housesitting I am happy to make time for daily walks and try to be attentive to when your pet needs to go out. I’m very flexible and try to leave every home as I found it or better! If your pet has toys I will always engage in play time and try to keep them happy and entertained.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs. I’ve also worked with rescue dogs and service dogs so I am able to take time to help the dogs warm up to me if they are more fearful. I currently also babysit when I am needed but no more than a few hours at a time and always within driving distance so I will be able to get to your dog in no time! I am confident in giving any medications your dog(s) may need, as well as kenneling them or leashing them to take them outside or on walks. I always have treats on hand in case they need a little encouragement.
