About: Animals have been a passion in my life as far back as I can remember. I am a pitbull mama who fell in love with the breed in my early 20s. I learned about their breed by raising a pitbull mama and daddy and their three babies. That pack shaped me into who I am today. I have worked at a pet boarding facility many years ago, and have worked at both the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA and the Fluvanna SPCA. My husband and I currently own 8 pit bulls and 6 cats. Let’s not forget the ducks and chickens! I can promise you that I will take the best care of your best friend, and treat them like my own providing them with lots of love and enrichment. I am available certain Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays. We can look at schedules on a case by case basis and customize based on individual needs. All of our dogs have GPS tracking collars on as well as invisible fence security. Our cats have Apple tags on them for safety. All of our cats and dogs are indoor animals. Safety is the most important thing to me and I assure you I will make sure I am the safest I can be with your pet.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for the last five years. Within my experience, I have only taken care of dogs under the age of 10. I absolutely love to go on long walks with animals! I currently work five days a week, but my work is in the center of my desired sitting area. In my previous sitting jobs, I have been able to take my 30 minute break at work to go check on the animals and let them out. I am normally up really early in the morning and late at night, so your animal will get enough care during the entire day! I care for pets very safe and carefully. I always have my leg first when opening doors to prevent pets from wondering off, and I always double check doors before leaving. I am very responsible when it comes to feeding animals. I also bring in mail/take trash cans out if needed during the sitting! :)

About: I have a large family dog that I have been responsible for since I was about 10 years old. She has since gotten older so I have experience with a senior dog and giving any sorts of medication (and the peanut butter necessary to get her to take it). I am no stranger to having to clean up any accidents in the house so that is a non-issue for me. I am also open to taking care of other animals like rodents or turtles or other cage creatures. I am a true and passionate animal lover! My schedule is very flexible at the moment. I am happy to give as much or little time needed for the pets. I can figure out any scheduling and details necessary with clients. I am never loud coming into a home. I always let the pets come to me unless they are hiding on purpose. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
