About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. On days off, I can be flexible and as available as your pet requires. I will be as candid as possible about my schedule to ensure choosing me is the best option! In a clients home, I follow all instructions given in regard to their pets care. I ensure the pet is comfortable with me before any handling or petting. I love to send photos and updates to clients letting them see how their pet is doing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I work remote so I can always be available for your little buddy! I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. I always take frequent breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and get some sun. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure your pet is well loved and appreciated! My house is always very clean and very spacious. I also live right next to a park and go for walks by myself regularly. About: I’ve been dog sitting for the last five years. Within my experience, I have only taken care of dogs under the age of 10. I absolutely love to go on long walks with animals! I currently work five days a week, but my work is in the center of my desired sitting area. In my previous sitting jobs, I have been able to take my 30 minute break at work to go check on the animals and let them out. I always have my leg first when opening doors to prevent pets from wondering off, and I always double check doors before leaving. I am very responsible when it comes to feeding animals. I also bring in mail/take trash cans out if needed during the sitting! :)

About: I have worked with several different breeds, and personalities of dogs. I also have experience with older dogs and being sensitive to their needs as they age. Providing a calm and reasurring presence to my canine friends, whether they are excited to see me or feeling a little stressed with their owner gone. I try to give my animal companions the best quality of life possible for them. I really love what I do. I currently work part time so I am able to give lots of time spending with furry friends. Animal care has become part of my daily routine and I couldn't imagine life with out it. In others homes I keep the enviorment low key and peaceful so as not disrupt them. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
