About: I have my vet assistant licenses and I’ve been working with animal since 2020 I went to MTC in Harrisonburg Virginia for vet. I’m also close to finishing my grooming school. I’m currently working part time. I can do weekdays and weekends anytime works for me. I’ll just need at least a day in advance. If you need me last minute I might be able to work something out. About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. It is so comforting to know that your beloved pets are in good hands and Hillary exudes that type of confidence in her care. “Everything about Joey and Zuzu's stay was PERFECT! We've only had Zuzu (rescued) for a few weeks; he has some "quirks", had no idea how he'd do, but Joey put us at ease during the meet & greet - he has a wonderful demeanor, his philosophy on having/treating/educating dogs is the same as ours, his place is great (lots of space, personal attention, socialization, etc etc). Communication was great, we were accommodated when drop-off time changed last minute, received pics/videos during Zuzu's stay, and received very helpful feedback on Zuzu when we picked him up. “Wow! Our two large dogs are home, and after spending two days with Charissa, they seem so calm and are now happily sacked out this evening. Amazingly, our lab seems to have learned not to be so mouthy when he greets us, something we've been meaning to teach him not to do! I loved how attentive to our dog's personalities Charissa was in our first meeting. It was incredible to find that she loves training dogs, knew exactly how mine had learned and was willing to reinforce their knowledge! She was kind enough to send daily photos which showed happy, active dogs (and a couple of sleepy ones!) and I know my dogs, they had such a great time! It's such a pleasure to know they have safe space to run, and sitters with such experience and know how to inspire confidence in my dogs. I can't express how delightful a bonus it was to find such an enriched place for these two happy boys to stay!”
