About: I'm a lifelong animal lover from Wilmington, Delaware, and after retiring from 34 years in education, I decided to follow my heart and spend more time with animals. I've had all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, even horses—so I know just how much they mean to us. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to have someone reliable, kind, and caring looking after your pets (and your home) when you can’t be there. Whether it's a walk around the block, playtime in the yard, or just some company while you're away, I'm here to make sure your furry family members feel safe, happy, and loved. I am retired after 34 years in education and have a flexible schedule that can meet your pets daily needs- morning, noon or night. Additionally, I have lived in the area my entire life so I am very familiar with the neighborhoods. I will visit your pets as requested. They will be walked responsibly and I will ensure they have fresh water and treats if allowed. If requested I will bring in the mail and any delivered packages.

Jax requires multiple oral medicines as well as an IV injection daily, neither of which he is a fan of, but Eleanor was able to swaddle him, administer his medicines, and make it as painless as possible. Marissa went above and beyond while taking care of our pets while we were out of town. It snowed A LOT and Marissa took the time to care for our home- she shoveled our front path and put down salt, and she was even so thoughtful that she put up the windshield wipers on our cars. We were dreading the conditions when we came home, but she was like a fairy godmother who made everything better!
Rhiannon took excellent care of our cat while we were out of town. She made sure to spend time playing with our cat and gave him treats and attention, and even went out of her way to clean after he threw up. Rhiannon also sent many wonderful photos from each check-in visit which helped put our minds at ease. I would highly recommend her for any pet-sitting needs!

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
