About: I am a veterinary student at ISU with experience pet sitting, caring for shelter animals, and clinical care. I am comfortable caring for pets with special diets and administration of oral medicine. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs, and I have flexibility in caring for pets of varying activity levels. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I have school during the days, but im available during the lunch hours from 11-1 for walks. Im free after 5pm Monday-Friday and i have full availability on the weekends. Your pets comfortable is my number 1 concern so I have no problem coming to you or taking your pet to their favorite park. I'm comfortable walking larger dogs that pull the leash and explore and older dogs with limited mobility. My dog has vestibular issue, so I'm comfortable lifting pets to help them up and down stairs or getting into cars. I'm also comfortable giving oral medication, clipping/shaving nail, and shampooing.

About: Weh di goh on? I’ve fed, ran with and taken care of dogs ranging from Pitbull to Pomeranian. I’ve stayed up all night with a sick dog and I’ve ran and played long and hard enough to make a dog want a power nap. I was the co-owner of a Pitbull-Mastiff mix, while living with two other roommates in a two bedroom apartment...we all survived (but A LOT of furniture was replaced in the process). About: I've grown up with pets my whole life - dogs, cats, cows, horses, hamsters, mice, you name it I probably had it at one point. I have a dog of my own as well. I like to say I've had animal experience my whole life, but formally I have had over 8 years of experience in the animal care industry. I have spent time in veterinary clinics, grooming, boarding, doggy daycare, dog training, permanent sanctuaries, rehabilitation facilities, and farms. I have also fostered multiple dogs from a local rescue. I recently earned a degree in animal science and have plans to attend veterinary school. I really really love animals and everything about them, and I would love to spend some time with your pet when you're not able to! I take my dog for two walks a day, a shorter 10-15 minute walk in the morning, and longer 30-45 minute walk after work in the afternoon. On days I am not working, I go on multiple short walks a day. There are paths I walk for both off-leash and on-leash walking. Typical available days are T-F. Weekends vary. Outdoor activities (walks, meeting friends dogs, swimming, fetch, etc.) are my primary methods of exercise and activity with my pet, and would be with clients pets as well. On days it's not so nice I like to work on training inside or find new enrichment activities to keep my pet occupied. I take pride in keeping a pet environment clean, so I regularly bathe and brush my dog, as well as clean food bowls. I will care for my clients pets as I would care for my own.
