About: I do work full-time, but am home in the evenings. I LOVE animals, but do not feel that I have the time needed to be a 'full time' caregiver. This is perfect for my lifestyle! I would treat your pet like a part of my family. I've always had dogs growing up and love having them as companions. I would walk your pet in the mornings and evenings. Looking forward to meeting you and your special pet!! I can accommodate special requests and am happy to answer any questions that you might have. References are available upon request. Thank you for reading my profile. I currently work full time, but would love to come and stay with your pet to provide day and nighttime companionship. I would adhere to the schedule for your pet and would not adjust (no people food, etc). I would let your fur babies out in the morning, again at lunch time, and would be at your residence for the rest of the day and night, starting at 4:30pm on workdays, and all day and night on the weekends. I would care for your pets as if they were my own. I take pet sitting very seriously and want to be the person that you could depend on to look after your fur family.
“This was our very first Rover booking and it couldn’t have been better! Allison was absolutely fabulous taking care of Lil Cat! She took pictures and was very communicative while we were on vacation. She also spent time with him & now they are the best of buddies! We will definitely book her again!”

“Mayah was an excellent cat-sitter! Excellent communication, professional, personable, and she also accommodated my extended stay. Highly recommended!! I look forward to working with Mayah again. Thank you for taking such great care of my girls. ?”

“Jess was great! She did a great job with communicating a meet and greet and all the details about the drop-ins for my cat. She really made me feel comfortable he was getting all the cuddles and attention he needed :)”

“Renae was outstanding. This was our first experience with Rover and it couldn't have went better. She was always on time and offered to do other things in the house. She sent us pictures and updates about the dog. The most important thing is that she was wonderful with our dog. You can not go wrong with hiring Renae to watch your pups. She is first class. A+”

About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.
“Kaleigh really stepped up when the previous sitter canceled without even so much as a message. She obviously has a history of working with dogs. She was informative and easy to contact. I would definitely recommend and will keep her at the top of my list next time I need a sitter.”

“Ashlyn was very responsive to a last minute visit for our 2 large dogs. She came and met the dogs the day before and took care of them the day of with no issues. We will be sure to use Ashlyn for our future trips.”

“First and foremost, it was clear from the time of the meet & greet that Natasha really loves cats, both in things she talked about and how she reacted when they peeked out and showed their faces. That was a really important thing for us. Her communication was great from the initial contact, even confirming the meet & greet about an hour ahead of time, and that continued during our time out of town. She asked conscientious questions about things we might or might not want her to do (both with the cats and in general with the house). She included some detail in the Rover Report Card each day so we knew how the cats were doing, whether they were interacting with her, etc. And we got daily photos, even if/when they stayed in hiding. That gave us a great sense of comfort to see their faces each day---like most people, we're very attached. With other places (including a boarding facility), we haven't gotten daily pics, and it really made a world of difference that we did. We're very happy with everything and would absolutely have Natasha check on the girls when we're out of town again.”

About: I’ve been passionate about working with dogs since I was 11, when I began training my own dog, Oliver, in both obedience and agility at B&D Creekside. I’ve continued training and competing in agility for the past seven years. Additionally, I have experience working at See Spot Run Doggy Daycare, where I was a keyholder responsible for the care and supervision of multiple dogs throughout the day. I also have hands-on pet sitting experience, including check-ins, feeding, playtime, and overnight stays to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I take pride in providing reliable, attentive, and experienced care for every dog I meet. I have plenty of availability this summer for pet care since I’m currently on break from school and only working part-time at Starbucks. I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to accommodate a variety of schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort, routine, and safety. I’m experienced with all breeds and confident handling reactive dogs, thanks to my work at a doggy daycare and my own two reactive pups. I read body language closely to ensure every pet feels secure and understood.

I have 2 cats and one Pitbull mix at home :) My Pitbull mix is reactive who has improved by leaps and bounds due to my training--I am very familiar with reading a dog's body language and reacting accordingly. I work part time as a First Responder at the local EMS agency and am recently starting school to further my career. Whatever is instructed by the pet parents will be completed. Guaranteed routine feeding and watering to be done at every visit. Any mess made from your pet will be cleaned and taken care of during the time I am taking care of them. I am not responsible for any destructive behavior from the pet that causes destructive damage to the home or property. PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT offer continuous care as I do need to leave to care of my own family since my husband is an over the road truck driver. Thank you for understanding. My house-sitting rate includes me conducting 30-45 minute drop ins every 6-8 hours. If extra time is needed, just let me know and I will try to accommodate as best as I can; an additional fee or an increase fee may be applied. Thank you for understanding. I work casually at the local EMS agency so my schedule is flexible. I am going through the process of testing and applying for school to further my career in Healthcare as well. I am a homemaker a majority of the time due to my husband being an over the road truck driver. I will provide pictures with updates to give you peace of mind. I am very familiar with scared, reactive and high energy dogs. I will accommodate to whatever is needed to provide trust to you as well as your fur baby. ****Please have a collar and leash on hand if a harness is used regularly. Too many dogs slip out of their harness and this poses a liability and infringes on safety on myself and others. ****

Youngwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was the first time we used Rover. We chose Mary after reading all the wonderful reviews. We then met her in person and knew she was perfect for our furbabies. She is very sweet, loving, dependable, and trusting. She treated our furbabies like her own. She sent pictures and updates after every visit. Our one cat is diabetic so she had to give him insulin shots twice a day. It was a brutually cold weekend, and she even offered to shovel the snow in our driveway! She cleaned the litterbox everyday and spent time playing with them. I highly recommend Mary.
