Prior vet tech looking for pet fix
I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. I also worked as a wildlife rescue & rehab intern and aquarist intern during undergrad, focusing on animal care and husbandry. Lastly, I have owned/helped care for family pets almost my whole life (including rodents, rabbits, and a dog) and have pet sat dogs and cats for family friends/neighbors on the side.

I will surely abide by clients' wishes regarding their caretaking directions and preferences. I will also be mindful and respectful of being in another person's space, and clean up after myself and the fur babies.

Jessica was great! She watched our 2 year old dog and two cats while we were gone for 6 days. She gave us routine updates of how our animals were doing and sent plenty of pictures which was greatly appreciated. She left the house clean and definitely put our minds at ease while we were away. We would absolutely use her services again the next time we go away.
Jessica took wonderful care of our dog Roxie and cat Whiskers. Our fur babies were happy upon our return from a long weekend and our home was in good order. Jessica's communication throughout was excellent.
Jessica was really easy to work with. She is very professional and kept us up to date on the latest with Flora.
Whiskey was very happy with Jessica’s company, and we were able to relax during our time out, knowing she was well cared for. We got a cute picture, too.

Programa
I recently graduated from my graduate program and am beginning a full time gig on July 6. In the meantime, I am able to fulfill pet needs with a relatively open schedule and will attempt to continue on days off/if otherwise manageable upon my start date. I will not make myself available if the time allotted is not appropriate to truly care for your pet. I deeply care about animals and would love to do what I can, especially since I cannot have my family pup & chinchilla with me at school.
