About: Hello! My name is Laura and I live in Trafford, PA with my fiancé, Nathan, and our old golden retriever puppy, Meadow :). I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets — not just dogs and cats, but also hamsters, chinchillas, guinea pigs and have even fostered a groundhog. About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! About: I’m Emily! A little about me: I love to run, lift, paint, and read. I am currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Speech Pathology and Audiology who’s home for the summer! I've been a pet owner myself for about 5 years now. My family currently has three cats and has had a dog and another cat in the past. Within the last seven years I have dog and cat sat for a lot of my extended family and friends. I'm currently on the hunt for a part-time job for the summer, so I have plenty of time on my hands to look after and care for pets. I also have my own car and am hanging out with friends a lot, so I am always around. I am very diligent with making sure doors and windows are shut and locked to ensure that your pets do not go in or out (if they're indoor pets/ not on a leash) as I have to do that with my own pets! I also realize as it grows hotter, animals become dehydrated and hot as well, and I am careful to make sure water bowls are filled, and there is water during walks as well.

About: I graduated with a BS in animal science with a companion animal emphasis, obtaining knowledge/experiences through classes, labs, internships, and employment. I worked as a veterinary assistant and kennel tech throughout undergrad seasonally and for several months post-grad at 2 different clinics. Of course there is always love and cuddle time scheduled in with us too We bought our house for our yard! Lots of room for playing outside in the safety of not having to worry about your pets roaming off. We have a crate available for dogs who need it and are crate trained. Of course only if the owner request will they be in it.
About: I’ve cared for dogs off all types all my life. Growing up I’ve always had multiple dogs/pets from rabbits, dogs,cats, Guinea pigs, to caring and spending time with the family horses. Recently had to put my boxer down due to old age/ health issues and am not ready for another full time pet yet. That’s where me and my kids come in to watch/ walk/ play/ love and spend time with your pets while your away! I’m a stay at home mom with lots of time to care for your pet, keep your pet safe when you need it the most! I have a large front & back yard with lots of room to run, if your dog is not trained to stay I have a chain that runs the length of my yard. Also a kiddy pool if your dog likes to play in the water. Love to go walking on a daily basis and if it applies to your pet spend time at local dog parks!

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old! I have always had a love for being around animals. I am a college student, so currently my summer is mostly free! I have a good amount of availability at any time of the week. I have a fenced in yard so both of my dogs can run free, yet stay safe! Both of my cats spend their time indoors.

Barkley was dealing with some seasonal allergies, and Emily sent me updates daily to let me know how he was feeling. He needed to take some medications and supplements during his stay, and Emily did a great job providing those, as needed. This was Barkley's first visit, and he enjoyed exploring the fenced yard and spending time with Emily's dogs. It was nice to know that Barkley was well cared for while I was away!”

About: Hello! My name is Laura and I live in Trafford, PA with my fiancé, Nathan, and our old golden retriever puppy, Meadow :). I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets — not just dogs and cats, but also hamsters, chinchillas, guinea pigs and have even fostered a groundhog. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and couldn’t imagine a life without a furry family member. I’m comfortable with any and all pets including puppies who need structure, potty breaks, and tons of attention, as well as senior pets who may require a slower pace, extra gentleness, and close attention to their routines. I work Monday–Thursday from 7am–4pm, but am available for evening walks and drop-ins. I’m fully available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for anything you need, including weekend boarding or day-care! I also have an entire week off around Christmas time, so I’ll be home and fully available for holiday bookings, extended stays, or extra visits during that time :). Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I build my free time around making sure your pets get the attention, love, and routine they need. We live on a 2 acre wooded lot and I have a fully fenced-in large backyard for secure outdoor time. My two-story home offers lots of space for relaxing, playing, or finding a quiet spot. I’m experienced with crate training and can follow any crate or feeding routines your pet is used to. I have my own 10 month old golden retriever puppy who is well trained, potty trained, and crate trained. She is extremely friendly and will be a great playtime companion!:)

About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. I’m also able to provide in-home boarding as I do not currently have a pet in the home. I also am able to offer drop-in services to address any home needs (mail, plant care, shoveling or vacation mowing), dog-walking, and light housework.
